I started email contacts with Ed Altman late last year. He was very helpful in finding the exact 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid I wanted. Other dealers said that I might have to wait 2-3 months to get one, as th He was very helpful in finding the exact 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid I wanted. Other dealers said that I might have to wait 2-3 months to get one, as they were not making many this year, since they were coming out so late. Ed was honest and didn't try selling me a bunch of items I didn't want or need. We had phone calls along the way and emails and he was able to find me the only car in the Tri-state area that matched what I wanted. The amazing thing about that, is the cars just came out a few weeks ago. Other dealers totally ignored me, asked if I wanted a 2012 instead, kept calling me during my busy season, etc. Ed and Mitch gave me the right amount of calling and emails. Mitch was there for the assist, even when I was getting upset about other dealers' treatment of my wish to purchase this car. They respected my busy season, yet got me the car in less that 2 weeks after I made the deposit on a holiday! There are still followups after the sale, too. I really appreciated that they were so fast and efficient at the time I had to spend at the dealership. I spent maybe 2 hours over the 2 times I was there, and I had been used to four hour visits at another dealership. Ed even helped arrange for my buyer to get the front bracket put on her 2005 HCH, while I was there completing my purchase. I like that they are offering Online Garage, so I can keep track of repairs and maintenance of my new car. More

The buying experience at Burns was better than any other dealer I had visited. My sales person Ron was easy to deal with and was very straight forward in the negotiation process. This was evident when I had an administrative problem with paperwork after the sale. Tony Stone, sales manager and Jim McCormick General Manager took my phone calls and worked tirelessly until the problem was resolved. Both Tony and Jim kept me informed of the progress they were making. Anyone can sell you a car, it's what they do after the sale to assure customer satisfaction that counts. First, I can't say thank you enough to Bill Gomeringer, my sales person at Burns and Mr. Kollman the manager for their assistance in my car purchase. They were very professional, friendly, and most of all helped me get into the car of my dreams. I visited twice in 4 months because I was working with a specific budget I had in mind and I wanted to take my time in the process and shop around to see just what my budget would allow me to buy. Mr. Gomeringer followed up with me several times after my first visit and even sent me an email on my birthday to wish me well. I had visited other dealerships that never called me once after my visit and that made me wonder, "Are they really trying to sell cars there"? The price of the car was very fair and they worked with me on the monthly budget I had in mind. They actually exceeded my expectations on my monthly payment. The process went very smooth without hassles of any kind. Overall I'm an extremely satisfied customer and to me they are the best dealership of South Jersey. More
We have a very positive experience in the purchase of our vehicle. The one disappointment was the tradein value we received for our PT Cruiser. Both Toyota and Chrysler offered us $1,500 and Honda offered us only $500. More
I ventured to this dealership knowing what car I wanted, and with information on the value of my trade-in and the average sales price of the new car I wanted. This dealership beat all other offers, and other dealerships have admitted that they couldn't match or beat Burns Honda's offer. That is what I am most satisfied with. I was also satisfied with the salespeople, specifically Mike Dibiaso. He was very much to the point and addressed whatever issue I had directly. Haggling over the price was easy and quick, and the transfer of the vehicles was without incident. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I would return again for another vehicle in the future, as I got a good price, and had an easy experience with one of the worst investments anyone ever makes-getting a new vehicle. More
I decided on a whim to see about purchasing a car. I had never been to nor ever purchased a car from Honda before. I went to the dealership at 3:30 pm on a Saturday. Joey was my Sales Consultant. I was upside down in my car and wasn’t sure if I would be able to purchase another car. But after 5 hours (and that was pretty good time considering it was a Saturday), I drove away with a brand new car. This was my first purchase of a Honda. Joey was extremely patient with me, as I hounded him with every imaginable question possible. I wasn't even sure what kind of car I was intersted in, but with Joey's help, he found something that was perfect for me. He was able to get me out of my car and into a brand new Civic Coupe. This was my 7th or 8th purchase of a car and this was absolutely one of the BEST experiences I have ever had at a dealership. There was not a lot of haggling of the price, as I told Joey what I was able to pay and they got it there. Nicole McNamee, Business Manager, stayed until 8pm to ensure I was able to leave the same day with my car. All the paperwork was gone over very carefully and with great patience. At the end of the purchase, there were even hugs given all around. Since I purchased my car, I have received 3 calls from Joey. Two to make sure I was happy with my car. The third to let me know my tags were in. I even received a call from a Manager; don’t remember his name, to see how I was enjoying my car. I also received a number of follow-up emails and 2 surveys. To some people that might seem like a lot and possibly annoying, but this to me showed awesome customer service and follow-up. Again, I have purchased many car thought out the years and have never received follow-up like this, and for me, it’s appreciated. The likelihood of my purchasing another car from them, on a sale of 1-10, is an 11. Great job Burns for your customer service and truly making me feel like you care about your customers. Kim R. More
