I recently purchased a 2013 Tacoma double cab manual transmission. My wife and I first went to Byers and met with a gentleman known as "The Pollock" and he was polite and informative. He was going to research looking for a new/used Tacoma double cab manual and get back to me the following Monday. On Wednesday after not hearing back from him I emailed him and he quickly replied that they were getting a couple stick shifts in a couple days. I asked him to contact me as soon as they were there so I could at least take one for a test drive. A week went by and I knew that the dealership had received at least one of the trucks mentioned in the e-mail as it was on their website and cars.com I waited another few days and still didn't hear anything from the salesman. My wife and I decided that we would go in again and whatever salesman grabbed us and helped us would get the sale. We went in I believe on a Sunday and met Aaron. He was very friendly and helpful. He found what ended up being my truck about 90 miles away at another dealership. By Wednesday, I was driving away in my first new vehicle and couldn't have been happier with the truck and the experience. I only hope I didn't make things awkward for the salesman who if he just wrote me an e-mail or gave me a call like he said, would have gotten the sale. More

We had a very pleasant experience at Byers service department when we brought our RAV4 down for service recently. He spent a lot of time going over the various items that would be taken care of and I am very appreciative for his patience. The car was serviced in a very reasonable amount of time. We have had three lease vehicles from Byers and have never had a problem with any of our service visits. The quality of service is always excellent and the service personnel are outstanding in the performance of care and service they provide. More

Our only comment would be that the closing seemed to take a very long time. We were there for over 3 hours. As we have not purchased a brand new vehicle for about 20 years, perhaps that is normal. I will say that that we purchased a used car from a dealership in Columbus and found the interaction with the sales person to be a little pushy and of the "used car salesman" stereotype - a bit sleazy. We did not experience this at Byers. More

My experience at Byers was great. From the minute I walked in, John Hess made me feel comfortable and wasn't afraid to give me his opinions without being pushy. I wasn't sure what I wanted and he reco walked in, John Hess made me feel comfortable and wasn't afraid to give me his opinions without being pushy. I wasn't sure what I wanted and he recommended a few items and introduced me to the Prius V and leasing as an option to consider. I didn't end up with either (the Prius sunroof doesn't open!), but really appreciated the options. John was understanding and listened to me and was patient while I decided on a car. I had two trade-in's as well and everyone was very honest and fair in dealing with those; even with a Car Fax issue I had to correct on one of them. The process was fairly painless and simple and I appreciate everyone's friendliness and honesty throughout the whole process. It is intimidating looking and making a decision on your own, but I felt comfortable in asking John's help. This was a tough situation for me for personal reasons and the entire staff was kind and supportive even though they didn't know why or how much I needed it. Recommended! More

I’m over fifty and have bought a lot of cars and trucks and never have I ever experienced this kind of friendly, courteous, and honest dealing. Bill Smith went out of his way to sell us a truck. He beat every dealer’s price on the new truck and gave us the most for our trade. When you go to other dealers they are like vultures waiting to prey on you and fighting each other to get a sale. You don't see this at this dealership and this is what really makes this dealer stand out from among the rest. What an atmosphere to witness and see. The whole dealership works together to work the sale and trade. It’s like a big family of friends. We are from New York and you wouldn't see that here! We don't know anyone at this dealership. But it's like family and you have known them all your life. Other sales men come up to you and talk to you like you are family or you've know them all your life. Not trying to steal a sale from their fellow peers like they do in New York. This was what made this dealership stand out the most for us. The friendship that was made is built on honesty and trust. It’s really nice to save money on a car but it's nice to enjoy the process of not being pressured or cheated. This dealership goes out of their way to make you feel wanted, relaxed, and satisfied throughout the whole transaction.
