Efficient, fairly-priced and friendly service I have been taking my 2011 Kia optima for service at C. Harper for sometime. Despite the common fallacy that repair costs at dealerships are higher th I have been taking my 2011 Kia optima for service at C. Harper for sometime. Despite the common fallacy that repair costs at dealerships are higher than other service locations, I have found their pricing to be fair and competitive. I most recently had my vehicle there for break service, and I had called a couple of other national chains to get estimates for the work, and they were all much higher than what I ended up being charged here. The service reps are friendly and the waiting area is comfortable and has Wi-Fi (I often do work there while I am waiting). For a while I was taking my vehicle to other locations for service because of their proximity to where I was working, but I often had issues and felt that I was being overcharged. I truly have never had any significant issues with C. Harper’s service department over the eight years or so that I have had this vehicle. Hence, the 5-star rating. More

Slow, Overloaded, Bad Overall Experience I bought my car off of the cHarper Kia used, it was my first real big purchase and as most know, I made a lot of mistakes and ended up paying up the b I bought my car off of the cHarper Kia used, it was my first real big purchase and as most know, I made a lot of mistakes and ended up paying up the butt for a car that was not worth it at all. Besides that fact, I had the car for 8 months now, last month with no indication or fault of my own, it just konked out and it ended up needing a new engine. First off, I found out my warranty was never established correctly, I had to pay to get it towed to my house because of this. I could not get a hold of anyone at this service center. This was my only means of transportation, I was crying because I was so stressed and could not do anything, it was terrible. After about 500 more loop holes, finally I got the car to their shop. Three and a half weeks later, I got it back which it does seem to be fine now which is the only reason they are getting two stars from me. The whole experience was terrible, from start to finish, even the cashier lady at the end was not informative at all and she didn't even ask about my loaner car which was theirs, that I had the keys to! (She was also not pleasant.) So much more had happened during this whole thing though, but for lack of time I am leaving out and getting to the point. I will not buy another vehicle nor go to this service dealer again. Yes, they will fix the problem, but good luck getting a hold of them and have fun waiting. Very dissatisfied with this place, still stuck with a car that still has issues, but that was from the very beginning, but it is my fault as I didn't look into it like I should have. More
