We purchased a 2018 Pacifica from Bill Byran CDJR in April 2022 and had good experiences with them and the service dept. It came time that we wanted to get something smaller. Our sales person, who knew little about the vehicles, helped us settle on a 24 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we started to talk about prices. She gave us a price that was only for those who finance without telling us that distinction. Our trade was initially valued at $3,000 less than CarFax estimated. They insist on including a $2000 package of paint and fabric treatment and some insurances that we will likely never use, (even after we refused it). First another person came to the desk with all the numbers which we countered and he left with our offer. We were then visited with a person who said he was a manager and gave the impression that he could authorize a deal. We could not get together and he never returned with any other offer. We were $1000 apart and decided to go home. That night we decided that the Jeep was a unique piece (with only 5000 miles), so we went back to buy it. Through the process, they never disclosed that this 2024 creampuff jeep only had one key/remote and the salesperson kept it quiet as were getting ready to drive it away. She quickly and politely paired our phones to the Carplay unit and sent us off. We had to fight to get another and be at the dealership on one specific day and time to get one. My wife was there for 3 hours and then they gave her a bill for another $424. She raised such a row that they sold it to her for $100, (asking that we give them a good review. I give no names. They don't matter. The way they run the sales department is the problem. Raising your voice in front of other customers seems to work. DON'T BUY THERE. SERVICE PEOPLE ARE GOOD. My wife added RE: service: Juan was very helpful trying to expedite the making of a second key for us, which was taking a very long time. The staff were amazing. I was a bit put off by the “bait and switch” advertising on the web. The price listed was $40,000 less than the actual price of the vehicle. Had the sales team not been so understanding and accommodating I would have gone elsewhere. They dis a great job helping me locate a vehicle that met my needs. I do suggest that the company cease using a “bait and switch” method of advertising. It is not beneficial. More
