Mr. Winston, We apologize for your length of stay at Billy Craft. Besides the oil change and tire rotation, as you know we also performed a recall on your Ram 1500. The recall was the Powertrain Control Module, which is a reprogram of your module (your main computer) through the Chrysler database system. This typically takes 30-45 minutes providing the internet link acts appropriately (otherwise we have to start the download again), although many times it can take longer. Once the truck is pulled around to the service side by the technician, we must then code the ticket with the proper lines in order to submit the recall to Warranty Headquarters. This requires additional time and we inform customers that the whole process can easily take an hour to an hour and a half. Once again we apologize for the time spent at Billy Craft.
