I came to Colonial Auto Center after looking at two other dealerships in the same day, I thought I was out of luck until I pulled into this dealership and Michael was waiting outside to greet me. I told him what I was looking for and he directed me to a few cars he thought I would like. I asked many questions and he knew all of the right answers, he allowed me to look at the car myself without trying to be pushy or overbearing ( a stereotype I normally pin on Salesmen). What stood out the most to me was that I told him that this was my first big purchase, my first car, and he understood that/worked with me to get the best deal possible. I really enjoyed that he also allowed my boyfriend and I to test drive the car ourselves, this allowed us to talk about the car and drive it as if it was ours without having someone breathe down your back. Michael overall made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process and literally worked up to the last second to ensure that I was happy and satisfied with my first car. He continues to stay in touch regarding tags, questions and appointments to get a paint touch up, which as a customer makes me feel great that he enjoys/takes pride in his work. I always dreaded car shopping, and spent six hours at other dealerships before coming to Colonial Auto Center, where I found my car within the first 45 minutes. This pleasant shopping experience is 95% due to the dedication of Michael as a personable sales consultant, and after talking with my boyfriend we both agreed that he was one of the reasons why we felt comfortable about buying my new car that day. Jim was extremely congenial and easy going and seemed genuinely interested in helping us. Scott, while walking the fine line between 'strong consumer advocate' and 'sleazy finance guy', manages to have l genuinely interested in helping us. Scott, while walking the fine line between 'strong consumer advocate' and 'sleazy finance guy', manages to have lots of patience for novice car buyers, and takes the time to explain all aspects of the warranties and extras that are offered, and in the end, really does work for the buyer on finding the best financing options available. As for Tim Royer: Tim was very easy going and a joy to work with. Pretty much the exact opposite of the 'pushy car salesman' that you would expect to find at a dealership. He seems like a very smart young man and despite his youth, seems very knowledgable about the vehicles. He's an all around great guy with a good head on his shoulders and of all of the salespeople we worked with during our car search (about a dozen) he was by far our favorite. More

I had decided on the price and the vehicle prior to visiting the dealership so Warren Polson had agreed upon the price shortly after Bob Kemp invited Warren to discuss the purchase price. Paul Limbacher quickly began preparing the paperwork then Scott Draper took over for Paul to finalize the paperwork and get my signatures. While I was signing the papers Paul dispatched the car to the detail shop. Bob Kemp drove the newly purchased vehicle to my house because I had to drive my other car home. This resulted in the fastest and most painless experience I have ever had. I would recommend Colonial Nissan of Charlottesville to my friends and family.
