Short and sweet Looked around for months, thinking craigslist would be where I could buy a good used car. After visiting another dealership with less than optimal exp Looked around for months, thinking craigslist would be where I could buy a good used car. After visiting another dealership with less than optimal experience (price not negotiable, they wanted me to finance, felt mislead, trying to sell me car I didn't want). That dealership did make me rethink my approach. I turned to looking on line at dealerships instead of craigslist. Craigslist was a huge waste of time. I found the perfect car through internet sales at Cable Dahmer. Called, asked if price negotiable, set up test drive. I went in knowing which car I wanted. Salesman Doug Petty showed it to me, I drove it, price negotiated and paid for all in less than 2 hours. The internet price was a great price, so the amount they negotiated made it even better. I bought a used car, but it was certified, so even though it is a 2012, i will still have 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. And they didn't make a big deal about me paying with cash. (the other dealer wanted the $500 the bank gives them for financing). So dealer versus dealer, the same car/model (minus a sunroof) with less miles on the one i bought cost me $2k less! Big savings for me! I don't like sunroofs anyway! I would definitely recommend buying a certified vehicle at Cable Dahmer, the entire team worked well together. Thanks Doug! Upon our arrival at Cable Dahmer we were immediatly greated by Tom. Tom was willing to listen about our experience, and our minds were set at ease that that would not happen here. Tom found us the exact Enclave we were looking for. After some negotiations all the numbers were right, and we bought the car. Chris in finance was very professional and made it easy. SERVICE WORK I took my wife's car, a Cadillac SRX, in for a problem that only happens once in awhile. The service writer, Josh Hacker, was very understanding and patient. We left the car and of course the problem never showed up. After getting the car back it happened again. This time Josh called general motors and found out that the problem has been know to happen in other cars. Josh solved the problem and now all is good.
