This is the most pathetic excuse of a dealership I have ever been to, from adding extra addons and packages, lying about car history, unrealistic price markups and wasting hours and hours of my time from d ever been to, from adding extra addons and packages, lying about car history, unrealistic price markups and wasting hours and hours of my time from driving back and forth for things that should have been completed and spending hours and hours on the phone trying to remediate this. We ended up having to trade the car back in and go elsewhere. It took 3 months to get it straightened out and hundreds of hours of my time that I will never get back. Do yourself a favor or don't waste any of your time or money and just go somewhere else. If you really want a Kia, go to Bob Sight Independence Kia. The salesman took forever and was pushy and secretive of the cars history, add ons and our trade in price. The finance manager was arrogant and extremely rude. And the management is of little or no help. I wish I could give so many negative stars. This place is the epitome of everything you don't want to see in a dealership. Shady and corrupt and only after your money. Again, save yourself the time, money and hassle and look elsewhere. More
Let me start by saying I let my guard down because they assured me many times that they'd take care of me since I was a referral. Even went as far as to act like they cared that I was a widow with kids an assured me many times that they'd take care of me since I was a referral. Even went as far as to act like they cared that I was a widow with kids and that they had my best interests in mind. I spent over 4 hours at the dealership. During negotiations I was told that they add 3M to every car but I was expected to pay for it. I chose to just accept that because they didn't seem like that was something they'd budge on. But then I was told they include a warranty to supplement the original kia warranty so I could take advantage of the rest of the original warranty. This was never posed as a question as to whether I wanted it so I assumed this was something the dealership just provided... not that I'd be charged $2k for it. While meeting with the finance guy, Dalton, he tried to sell me an extended warranty. I told him numerous times (to the point I was getting irritated) that I did not want the extended warranty. All paperwork was signed electronically. I was not given the chance to read thru any paperwork so I just trusted what Dalton was telling me I was signing. (In hindsight that was a big mistake) When I left the dealership I had zero paperwork. I never saw a breakdown of prices. I never saw what my total was. I was just told what my monthly payment would be. Over 3 weeks after I purchased my vehicle I finally received the title, bill of sale, and the vehicle buyers order in the mail but still have never received a copy of any of the paperwork that I signed. When I received the bill of sale I noticed the sale price and that it was about $4k higher than the price of the vehicle listed on the website so I called to inquire. 1 week after I called I finally was able to get ahold of someone only to be told that the warranty they include on all vehicles is actually something they charged me $2k for and that extended warranty that I denied numerous times was in fact added on as well. Upon talking to Dalton and my salesman, Amid, I was met with quite a bit of gaslighting. Especially from Dalton who tried to say that I had changed my mind on the extended warranty (which is not true because my mechanic doesn't even file those so it's worthless to me). Overall this has been the worst buying experience I have ever had and this is my 8th car that I've purchased from a dealership. Definitely seems like this dealership is all about getting money vs actually taking care of their buyers. Even if I cancel the warranties at this point I assume I will still be paying sales tax on those items since they were included in the sales price. I hope these guys sleep well at night knowing they screwed over a widowed mom of 5 kids. More
Never will I even drive past here let alone purchase another vehicle. I purchased my car along with the powertrain warranty, now that I have problems they want to send me to the Cable Dahmer on Noland another vehicle. I purchased my car along with the powertrain warranty, now that I have problems they want to send me to the Cable Dahmer on Noland because they don't work on GM's, that was never mentioned in the purchase🤔 They said in order to read the sensor, pull in and don't turn off your car so we can get the sensor read, I did what I was instructed and then the next day they tell me to come pickup my car and take it to the noland road location after the car does it again, I said well didnt you get the sensor read when I left the car running, they said yes but we turned it off to try to get the car to do it again and it didnt so theres no issues with the car now.🤔Make it make sense please, you tell me not to turn off the car but then you turn it off and tell me you don't work on GM cars. Well I said can you call noland road to tell them we are coming there, well no we can't because the issue isnt showing up now since the car is turned off. Sad thing is we were just thinking about purchasing a new car but I know where we won't be going and I will make sure non of my friends or family go either!!! What a frustrating experience, so many times taking off work just to be in the same position as I started with this issue!!! Poor service and no empathy what so ever, just about making a buck, not about keeping a good relationship. More
I have a 2014 Kia Forte EX. It has 65,900 miles on it. When I had the oil changed, I was told there were metal flakes in the oil. They checked the oil after I told them of a It has 65,900 miles on it. When I had the oil changed, I was told there were metal flakes in the oil. They checked the oil after I told them of a new tapping noise. They told me to go to Kia and tell them I needed a possible engine replacement. I immediately drove to Cable Dahmer and got a Customer Service Rep named Ryon McKivergan. He was very polite and professional. He looked up my vehicle and told me it was under warranty. He told me a technician would check it out. He arranged for me to get a loaner. A few days later he called and told me they had opened a case with Kia requesting a remedy. He said it may take a while for them to hear back. A few days later, he called and said Kia approved the engine replacement and told me it would take 5-7 days to get the parts. In a little over 2 weeks, they called and said my car was repaired. I picked it up last Friday and it ran perfect. The only hiccup was the outside temperature gauge didn’t work. I returned today and Ryon was at lunch but Jerry was gracious enough to have it taken care of for me. I just want to say that Ryon and Jerry were excellent! Ryon was absolutely the best service tech I ever experienced at Cable Dahmer. Jerry was also very accommodating and polite! I can’t speak about all the Customer Service Reps but the two I dealt with were top notch! More
This is the 2nd Stinger we purchased from Cable Dahmer, the experience has been great. The car is amazing and the team at Cable Dahmer has been really easy to work with. We have had such a great experience the experience has been great. The car is amazing and the team at Cable Dahmer has been really easy to work with. We have had such a great experience I recommended that my mom visit the dealership when she was looking for a new car, I think that says it all. Cable Dahmer Kia is a dealership you would recommend to your mom. More
Purchased a 2020 Kia Soul for my with cash about 2 weeks ago. The day after we had a question about a cracked windshield frame and placed a question about getting it fixed in their 'contact us' box. No repl ago. The day after we had a question about a cracked windshield frame and placed a question about getting it fixed in their 'contact us' box. No reply yet. My wife called and left a message for our salesman and the finance person about the paperwork and having them printout a page we had problems printing. Nothing major but again no call back. In my opinion it would seem that once a purchase is made the customer is forgotten about. I would certainly buy another Kia but certainly not from this dealer. I just hope that the service contract we also purchased is handled better than their sales follow up. More
