I went to clean it out 5 days later and found I had left a purse in the car that I was looking for. It had 3 $25 Cracker Barrel gift cards in it which was missing. Can you please ask if anyone has it to put it somewhere anonymously. I’ve contacted the person who gave us the gift cards who is looking for the receipt to cancel them or find who may have used them. The vehicle was towed in for customer diagnosed fuel pump failure. Repaired. But they didnt replace the lines and say they test drove it. The vehicle smells like an open can of gas in a garage. I guess I should be happy no sparks ignited my 5000lb boom boom. More

We took it to Dahmer in Topeka and found out that the transmission was shot. Called the dealership in KC and left messages which were never returned. Luckily we bought the extended warranty. After warranty company finally got their act together, a month later, we finally got the truck back. We then got the title in the mail and the dealership only put my husbands name on it. We now have to pay another $25 to have my name added. Worst experience we have ever had buying a vehicle. More
Unfortunately, I am having to write this based upon the negative customer service I received from the establishment that I purchased my vehicle from. Cable Dahmer of KC 103rd st. Kansas City, Mo. I pur negative customer service I received from the establishment that I purchased my vehicle from. Cable Dahmer of KC 103rd st. Kansas City, Mo. I purchased my suv in November and received one key. However, in January 2024 I lost the key. I reached out to the service department explained I lost my key and needed a new one. During that time all that was explained was that I would need to tow it to them. Long story short I did that and it was taken to the wrong cable dahmer, the one on 104th down the block. I found out the next day after being quoted the individual key fob price that I had to have two. I explained I only received ( 1 )key fob during my purchase of the used suv and couldn’t understand why I was being required to purchase two in order for the 2021 Terrain to be programmed. What I was told is that GMC since 2020 requires that two fobs are required to re program the fob for the customers safety etc.etc. This is where the logic in that does not make sense. They had to re-program the (1)key I received prior to my purchase since they only received one, so if the dealership knows that GMC requires two for programming why did I not receive a second key to begin with regardless if it is a used vehicle or not; Based upon the protocol that GMC has, I should have received two. I asked the dealership I purchased from to pay for the second key fob and was told no and then was told the used car manager will take care of it and be in contact with me by the close of business by the sells manager. However, close of business came and there was no call. My sells rep tried but was told no they would not cover it too. The Service manager (Matt) at the 104th Cable Dahmer reduced the amount and apologized for me having to go through all this (real customer service). Bottom line is that the location Cable Dahmer on a 103rd could have and should have done better. Considering integrity is one of CABLE DAHMER’s core values: “Integrity – We do the right thing because it is the right thing to do. It isn't what is cheap, easy, popular or convenient that guides us.” I cannot and will not support an establishment that doesn’t put its customer first or follow its own values. GMC if you’re going to sell your product line and make decisions that impact your customers you should at least make and mandate that all your vehicles when purchased used or new have two keys as well. The cost is $400 plus per key (ridiculous)and you want customers to pay that twice!!! Price Gouging at its finest! More
The service department is a scam. I came in knowing exactly what I needed and I had the codes for the repair. I figured since I was there I’d have them change the oil as well. They I came in knowing exactly what I needed and I had the codes for the repair. I figured since I was there I’d have them change the oil as well. They said they needed to run a diagnostic test, which is $199, but that would be counted towards the cost of the repair, which again I knew I needed. They quoted me over $700 for the repair. I almost fell out of my chair. That is $400 more than two reputable auto repair shops quoted since their quote. Their labor costs were absurd. I told them no thanks and felt I was being ripped off as I already knew what needed to be replaced. Essentially I paid nearly $300 for an oil change. This is highway robbery. I will never go to them again and you should shop around. They told me “well the dealerships are always higher.” This is just a scam. Won’t happen again. Beware. More
BUYER BEWARE - Deliberately lied about price of van until very end and then it was suddenly several thousand dollars over the asking price (and price on windshield) wasting hours of my time. This company use very end and then it was suddenly several thousand dollars over the asking price (and price on windshield) wasting hours of my time. This company uses a very well-choreographed scam where the "seller" sells you the car, then the "manager" tells you at the end that you are not going to get it for the price the "seller" was leading you to believe you were getting. I went to this Cable Dahmer in Kansas City Saturday 29 July 2023 to look at a 2016 Town and Country listed at $15,500. I met with a "seller" named Jay Gipson. I told him I had 16k max. He assured that was enough for this van. He showed me the van, worked with me to look it over. I noticed it had been in a undisclosed wreck and showed him the area and the seams cracked. He offered a pacifica listed as a few thousand dollars more, I told him I couldn't afford that as it was 19k. He said, that's ok, we can work this down for you because I know you need to be under 16k. I left for a moment to think about the town and country & pacifica. I called back and said I was very interested in the town and country, but could he fix the large scratch across the roof and put the symbol back on the door. He assured he could, and I reminded him my budget was only 16k for the car with taxes and all included, to which he said there was no issue. I returned to the store to test drive and go over everything. I told them I would take it. Worked out that I would drive the car home that day, then return in a week to have the scratch taken care of. Then came the start of the price up scam. Jay brought over a paper with the 15,500 price on it, which then also showed that there was another charge of 1000 for not using them to finance (I was paying cash), another 2000 for not having a trade in, another 1000 for detailing the van, another 1000 for trim around the doors, another 1000 for the nitrogen they put in the tires for air. another 700ish? for dealers fees. Thats like $22,000 before taxes. Jay said he wasn't worried about most of it, but asked if I could be in the middle of those numbers, I said no, from the beginning you have been saying 16 is all I got, now you are saying 19k? No, you said 16k was ok until now, and that 16k was ok, and that's what I want it at. Then the dance with the "manager" started. He came over going look this car is 22k, I am not taking a 6k loss on this car. I said then why do you list it as 15500, he said because IF WE PUT THIS PRICE ON IT NO ONE WOULD SHOP HERE. Of course not, its $6,000 over the Kelly Blue Book fair market value for a dealer! This is a scam to get you to say yes to a car, and then raise the price on you to get you to pay more than you would have. So, I wasted most of my day here because of them when I could have been shopping at other car dealers. This is an awful deceitful company. Buyer Beware!!! Would give 0 stars if I could. More
