I visited Camelback Subaru while actively shopping for a 2026 WRX and found the experience to be inconsistent with what was communicated prior to my visit. Before arriving, I was in contact with Bri, who 2026 WRX and found the experience to be inconsistent with what was communicated prior to my visit. Before arriving, I was in contact with Bri, who indicated they could beat an existing offer I had from another dealership and referenced a target monthly payment of approximately $637. Ray (manager) also followed up and reinforced that they could provide a significantly better deal if I came in. However, upon arrival, the numbers presented did not align with those expectations. The trade-in valuation was materially lower than previously discussed, add-ons such as GAP were priced significantly higher, and no clear, itemized breakdown was provided. Even after shifting to a lower-priced WRX Premium, the quoted payment exceeded the offer I already had on a higher trim vehicle elsewhere. This created a lack of confidence in the consistency and transparency of the sales process. While I understand negotiations can vary, the gap between what was communicated and what was presented in person was substantial. As a result, I chose to move forward with another dealership.
