I would give this dealership a 0 star rating, if possible. After my mother negotiated a deal for a new Ascent with a $1,000 deposit and signed contract (exact VIN# included), a dealership representa possible. After my mother negotiated a deal for a new Ascent with a $1,000 deposit and signed contract (exact VIN# included), a dealership representative (Frank Galtieri) called and said the price had changed/increased by $4,000. We were on the road for 2 hours to Phoenix, ON THE WAY to pick up the new car, when Frank called and said we could pay full MSRP for the vehicle or the contract was being voided by Camelback. When we questioned the reason, we were told to drive safely and hung up on. We were also told to "be sure and spell my name right" by Mr. G.A.L.T.I.E.R.I. when we asked for Management and apparently, he IS the management. I have never been treated so rudely and I'm infuriated at the treatment of my mother as well. The salesperson Gabe cannot be reached for help now. I was also in the process of purchasing a new Subaru but NOT at Camelback now...buyer beware--buy somewhere else. This dealership is all about bait and switch. More

DON'T buy from this dealership! I had a written contract to buy an Ascent from them at VIP pricing, complete with the VIN # of the car I was to buy. They took $1000 deposit to hold that car. As I was dr to buy an Ascent from them at VIP pricing, complete with the VIN # of the car I was to buy. They took $1000 deposit to hold that car. As I was driving all the way from Tucson to buy it, I received a call from a very rude man named Frank Galtieri. He informed me that he was canceling the contract. When I questioned his ability to do that, he began yelling at me, interrupting me, and hung up on me. He was condescending and ever so self important as he was treating me like an ignorant unimportant female customer. I seriously doubt he would have dared treat a man in that manner. There is no excuse for his behavior, and to rescind a contract for no reason other than they could sell that car to someone else for more money is inexcusable. This was an appalling experience. Don't buy from this dealer, you will be sorry. Their purported dedication to customer service is a joke. More

I had such a great experience with the people and atmosphere at Camelback Subaru. However, who really made my experience worth writing a review was Kazuki Hotta. He is a genuine, patient, understandi atmosphere at Camelback Subaru. However, who really made my experience worth writing a review was Kazuki Hotta. He is a genuine, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and overall wonderful human being, and it was such a true pleasure to work with him. He treated my friend and me with such immense kindness, and took the time to explain the safety and guts of my vehicle, which were big concerns for me. I sincerely hope I get to work with him in the future for all my car needs. Thank you so much again, Kazuki! And the Camelback Subaru Team! More

The absolute worst experience ever. I went down there to look at a Nissan Sentra. Never did get to look at it. The showed me a Toyota Corolla 2012. It looked ok at first glance, but my check engine light an look at a Nissan Sentra. Never did get to look at it. The showed me a Toyota Corolla 2012. It looked ok at first glance, but my check engine light and another light came on the day after I purchased it. I took it back down there. They said they fixed it, but check engine came in again a day or two later. Had Autozone run diagnostic on it. Said cylinders was mis-firing. Took it back down there again. Asked them to fix injector and squeaky brakes. After having it gor a week and telling me they installed a new part. It is doing the same thing. My old car was pretty beat it, but it runs better than this new car. Not to mention. They charged me over $7000 and the front end was bolted on. Part of that payment they charged me was $1100 for interior and exterior spray. To make car shiny. Never asked if I wanted it or not. And then I paid cash for the car as well. Single mom and older saved over a period of time to buy that car. Was planning on keeping it for the rest of my life. Now what do I do with no money, car doesn’t run and can’t walk that well, anymore. Said they would take advantage of someone that way. Probably because it was just me and didn’t have a guy with me. Would they treat their own mother that way. Will never buy another car from a dealership again. I thought when you bought a car from a dealership they were suppose to have fixed all the issues on the car before reselling it. Hopefully can find some help under that lemon law. More

I have just bought an amazing 2016 Subaru Outback from Camelback Subaru. It was a great experience. I have been driving a Prius for 12 years and needed to replace it. I wanted a car with a little more roa Camelback Subaru. It was a great experience. I have been driving a Prius for 12 years and needed to replace it. I wanted a car with a little more road clearance that didn't hate dirt as much as my Prius. I looked on line and narrowed it down to 10 cars. I went looking. When I got to Camelback Subaru I was tired and frustrated. Immediately KZ Hotta sat me down and listened to my desires. I explained that I needed a good experience for my husband who would be coming with me on the test drive. We set up a time. KZ had a beautiful new Outback ready when we came. It was great, but now I wanted a deal. Did he have a good used Outback in their inventory? We left that day and I was thinking that I needed to find myself a good Outback or Forester. Instead KZ called me the next day with the perfect car at the perfect price. He really worked hard and came through for me. I recommend him and the team that worked with him. I have never had a better experience when buying a car. More

Other than test driving, buying a car has never been a fun experience. But for the first time, our experience was actually quite pleasant. Gabe was our sales representative, and he was professional, pat fun experience. But for the first time, our experience was actually quite pleasant.
