I purchased a used Rockwood Geo Pro and 2 days later it was stolen parked beside my house. The neighborhood has numerous motorhomes parked and mine was clearly singled out. I inquired to the salesperson was stolen parked beside my house. The neighborhood has numerous motorhomes parked and mine was clearly singled out. I inquired to the salesperson about having a vehicle tracking device hard wired in that I purchased, did not receive a response and it was stolen in less than 72 hours. I did have it insured butthey knew that. I have no proof but it seems to appear as an inside job. More
Attending the Camping World Camper Show in Minneapolis; we found a camper we wanted. After signing paperwork, we were told the printer wasn’t working, and we couldn't get a copy until the following week. we found a camper we wanted. After signing paperwork, we were told the printer wasn’t working, and we couldn't get a copy until the following week. The advertised price was $26,999, but things quickly went downhill. Working with Brent and Zach from the Monticello, MN Camping World location, we were informed that we owed over $20,000. This was incorrect since we had a $10,000 trade-in and $4,000 down payment. $26,999 - $10,000-$4,000 = $12,999 + tax. Arriving for the walk-through, the price became $33,499. We did not agree to this cost as correct. I had taken pictures at the show, for proof. Brett didn’t seem to have answers and continued to look for our paperwork from the show…then, it mysteriously surfaced. After Brett’s much shuffling of the paperwork, he added in a service agreement for $3,600, which was originally included; but not anymore. To make matters worse, we were misled about the loan term being 60 months, but it turned out to be 17 years! The numbers also didn’t add up; and further reviewing the paperwork, we realized the taxes were based on the incorrect amount of $33,499. After reporting this mess in more detail to the Camping World headquarters; the original loan was scrapped and we were allowed to go through our own bank, without the extra unknown “fluff.” BUYER BEWARE, efforts are made to finagle you to sign over to Camping World a POWER OF ATTORNEY. Overall, a stressful and frustrating experience with misleading prices and terms. We do not recommend Camping World. Camping World has a “F” rating on BBB and have several negative reviews on TikTok. Will never buy from them. Right from the check to even look at a camper they wanted to scan our driver license. We made it crystal clear we were just looking and we wanted to Right from the check to even look at a camper they wanted to scan our driver license. We made it crystal clear we were just looking and we wanted to know what our camper was worth for trade in which by the way was a very low offer. They had us sign for the appraisal which is understandable then the second paper stated I will buy now -sign here. We obviously refused to sign that. We were interested in a few models and said we needed some time to look around and to sleep on it. The sales person insisted on making that sale that day and kept saying what do I have to do to make a sale today? I have gotten multiple calls from them trying to get a sale from us. I have never had such a pushy sales person in my life. Will take our business elsewhere. More
I really suggest you all don’t buy from #CampingWorld. Their many reviews are just over 3 stars and I am proof that they take advantage of you after the sales. Example is, when I complained about the unit Their many reviews are just over 3 stars and I am proof that they take advantage of you after the sales. Example is, when I complained about the unit they sold me, they offered $1000 toward a $10000 roof that it needed. After they wouldn’t take it back, they only offered me a $12k trade in for a $30k sale they stole from me. Proves that #CampingWorld agrees that they sold me a piece of crap. More

Update: i went to pick up my rig weds from Camping World in Wood Village OR. I was told there was a tow package. That wasn't true. I was told I'd get a whole bunch of freebies. I was told of a free camping in Wood Village OR. I was told there was a tow package. That wasn't true. I was told I'd get a whole bunch of freebies. I was told of a free camping trip. Just getting over Covid, this person couldn't give me 5 minutes to catch my breath. They just hurled us down the hall like cattle. Once we got to the rig, I was told the opening was too narrow for my walker. I had to send my daughter who was visiting from Texas went and listened to whatever. The finance person, Dick, was quite the jerk. He wanted me to sign a paper that said if anything was wrong with the unit, I wouldn't take them to court. This was a red flag and I stated I wasn't going to sign it. He told me, "I'm not selling you the unit then." After that I just scribbled on any paper this jerk put in front of me. I gave him my new insurance card but he wanted one that didn't start for 2 days. I got the current one, but when we were done, he wanted the other one back since this one was only good for 2 days. I told him no. I wasn't doing that as he had the one valid for today so he told my daughter to go get it. I told him my identify had been compromised but they never ran my deposit they required. Had I known that, I would have never gone back. My bank account was blocked the day before. I had $40 in gas to get my car home. They would have had to redo the paperwork for $1000 less and waste more of my time and made me feel like it was my fault. My daughter offered her credit card to which I declined. He took it from her and ran it anyway. Then put barely enough gas in it to get it home. I now have a toxic, driveway ornament that I will never drive and don't know how to use. What an awesome way to spend your life savings. Happy retirement! - a disabled veteran More
I have been waiting for many months to write a review because I was hoping things would turn around, but the honest truth is, the people at this company are not good people. There were a couple of things because I was hoping things would turn around, but the honest truth is, the people at this company are not good people. There were a couple of things wrong with our camper upon deciding to buy it. But we were ASSURED they would be taken care of when we came in to sign for it. Then at signing, we were assured by 2 others that the issues would be fixed by delivery. Even with a call in to make sure things were happening, delivered and come to find out problems were not even addressed AFTER 3 TIMES them telling us they were being taken care of. THIS WAS OCTOBER! Now, after several times being put off, it April and our camper is in for repair. Been there for almost a month and still not done! Literally every conversation with every person there is lip service. Not good people. Wish I would have read reviews first. This was supposed to be a fun experience for our family. More
