Several months ago, I emailed you about problems I was having with Camping World in North Charleston, SC. I have been trying to get issues resolved since March 2022 when I bought my 2022 Forrest River 400 having with Camping World in North Charleston, SC. I have been trying to get issues resolved since March 2022 when I bought my 2022 Forrest River 4007G2 toy hauler. First off I included in my purchase for a washer dryer and this model has a manufacturer defect of not having enough room to install one. So I had to settle for awning covers for my slides instead. My doors won't close right and latch correctly. They said it was a mistake from the factory puting in the wrong screws, what they did is make it worse. Now they are telling me they are going g to charge me $240. to come and fix an issue I have had since I bought it. I can not take it to them since I have put a permanent deck in front of my camper. Besides if you read the reviews, they take forever meaning months if you take it to them. This is my permanent home, I can not wait for months to have it fixed. The staff a t like they care when you talk to them, but do nothing. I have been calling for over a week now trying to talk to the Service Managet and he has refused to take my calls and call me back. I am over it, ready to tell everyone not to buy anything or use Camping world for nothing. This RV is my home, all I have and this is about to push me over the edge. Please someone help me, please. Recently took my F150 to have a Blue Ox tow bar base plate installed along with custom fit hardness for brake/turn signals. Miraculously the the service manager said it could be a 5 hour job and low a plate installed along with custom fit hardness for brake/turn signals. Miraculously the the service manager said it could be a 5 hour job and low and behold when I picked it up —- 5 hour charge! I’ve consulted with several other hitch/towing shops and ALL of them said that is no more than two hours max job. And to make matters worse, they threw away the dust caps and all of my manuals and failed to install the breakaway cable as instructed. Called back numerous times to complain and nobody would return my calls. So if you want to get overcharged and shoddy work, go to Camping World. The writing harness they didnt follow the instructions at all and never trimmed off the zip ties. I ended up crawling under the truck and correcting all of those and rerouted it. More

Camping World in North Charleston has GREATLY improved since my last visit. I needed to replace the refrigerator in my horse trailer and hit the jackpot with Debra Ballou. Words cannot express my appreciation for Camping World Charleston and what they do for the community. When asked to partner with Make-A-Wish South Carolina to help grant several wishes for Lowcountry chil Charleston and what they do for the community. When asked to partner with Make-A-Wish South Carolina to help grant several wishes for Lowcountry children with critical illnesses, Antwan Sumter and Jessica Kenyon jumped into action. They located trailers and expedited their delivery to make these wishes possible. They've helped grant three wishes in just two months, giving these children and their families hope and joy during a challenging time. Thank you to the entire Camping World Charleston team for helping make wishes come true for local kids! More

My new Thor Freedom Elite started falling apart on our first family vacation. After cutting our six-week vacation short due to numerous problems we made an appointment at this location to get it fixed and first family vacation. Some parts were ordered two months ago and still not in. We finally tried to call the service manager whose answering machine says “if you’re not happy I’m not happy.“ His secretary informed us that he does not talk to customers, his assistants do. Also overheard service employee bad mouthing customers while in the store. What a mess. More

We had a horrible experience with the GM Whitney Lester. She lied to my wife and I about the motor home and the financing. Never do business with a Lester. Her father ripped many people off about 20 year She lied to my wife and I about the motor home and the financing. Never do business with a Lester.
