12-6-23 I went in and talked to Ron the service manager about an issue with my van, which I assumed the motor was blown. 12-7-23 I dropped my van off so they could verify if the motor was blown or not. The starter was bad, and they had to put a new starter on. 12-8-23 Talk to Dennis they put a new starter on the van to see if the motor was blown. Of course, the motor was blown. He said they had everything in stock except for a couple gaskets and hoses. It will be done in a week or two. 12-21-23 Talk to Dennis on the 21st supposed to be done tomorrow told me it would be done on the 26th. 12-26-23 Talk to Dennis on the 26th. Told me it would be done. 12-29-24 not done. Told me it would be done on 1-2-24 1-2-24 Talk to Dennis vans not done. Told me it would be done on 1-4-24 1-4-24 Finally, picking up the van pay bill walked out to the van. It is filthy, dirty it will not start Come to find out it’s a bad battery I go swap out battery still having a hard time starting. Come to find out the new start they put on is bad. Waited three hours for them to swap out the starter same day coolant level was low when I picked it up. 1-5-23 Drive to Orlando and back van ran great water level kept on going low 1-6-24 Drop van back off to figure out why it was losing water. They said it was the thermostat didn’t have one. I had to go buy one at Galeana bring van back to put new thermostat in. 1-13-24 Drop van off at 9 AM to put new thermostat in and look at rattling in front end. They only had time to install the thermostat and not look at the front end. 1-20-24 Had an appointment at 2 o’clock to drop off van, because still losing water and rattle in front end getting worse mechanic told me he didn’t know if he had time to get to it that day Got pissed off. Talked to operation manager Danny. 1-22-24 Talked to Danny brought van in let master mechanic go for a ride with me to figure out what’s going on with the front end. Still leaking water 1-22-24 Drop off van to master mechanic swap out fan for radiator figure out why it’s running bad and check front end They determined the radiator had a hairline crack in it, which they have taken out twice already, that I had to pay for a brand new one. The reason it was running bad was the air intake was torn, which they’ve already taken off many of times and I had to pay for a new one. Said they would Warranty what was rattling under the front end.???? (I had to pay for a Rent-A-Car through them for two days) 1-31-24 Pick up van ended up spending $3100 more. Of course the van is dirty they would never do a courtesy wash 2-5-24 Vans been running great, working at a customer’s house walk out there’s a puddle of oil underneath my van now I have to pay to have customers paver driveway fixed Take van back to dealership drop off because of the oil leak. 2-6-24 Stop by to see what was going on with van they said the (oil filter housing came apart that they would cover it under warranty -this is new! It would already be under warranty!) it would not be fixed that day waiting on a bolt. 2-7-24 Before Picking up van asked them to make sure they could pressure wash the engine so there’s no oil drips Of course, the van was dirty, they did not pressure wash the engine, front hood alignment way off missing bolts some of the harnesses underneath that looks like they need to be clipped in their spots were not clipped in. I can go on for days. I could write a book on how bad the service department is here and dealing with Ron the service manager dealing with Danny operation manager. They still couldn’t get it right. I drop the van off on 12-7-23 Finally fixed on 2-7-24 So far, the vans been running OK but nervous about driving it every day because of the issues I’ve had with them Come to find out the mechanic that did the original work on it first time at Cape Coral Dodge Was his first time working on a 2500 pro master Van on a gas motor There’s a lot more to this, That would blow your mind. The dealership is very busy and a little hectic. Drive up service for an oil change is not as quick as implied on the website. The only minor issue was when I arrived to drop off the vehicle, no one acknowledged me for about 15 minutes. A simple "someone will be with you" as several employees walked past would. have been nice. I made my appointment online and apparently the guy that they made the appointment with was no longer there. I had waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged at my vehicle in the service bay. I then had to go in to the cashier to get them to give me some help. The guy I did end up using was pleasant and reasonable. Overall, not a great experience. More
