Sold car still registered to someone else;Bad Customer Serv. I contacted this dealership after seeing a vehicle online and entered the dealership with my own financing….easy sale for the dealer team. I purchased that SUV here on 4/4/20 and have not been able to get the vehicle registered. After contacting my salesman and the Finance Associate several times since 4/4/20, I contacted the DMV to inquire on the ETA/status of the new license plate. I was informed that nothing was completed by the dealer and the vehicle still has a previous owner listed on the Title. Aside from the aforementioned problem, the Finance Associate and Salesman have exemplified horrendous Customer Service and poor overall execution. During my document purchase signing, the Finance Associate stated that since I was not transferring my Trade-In's license plate, I needed to go to the DMV office to pay taxes in order to get the new vehicle license plate. The NC DMV confirmed that was inaccurate information. I have received the complete run around from both individuals since early April. I'm currently on my THIRD 30 Day tag that will expire in 11 days. After 3-4 communications with those same individuals on yesterday (6/17/20), I was told that the current Title Holder would be in the office later that evening to rectify the situation. My salesman stated he would contact me this morning (6/18/20) to update me of the situation.... I have NOT heard from him. When I contacted my bank on yesterday (6-17-20), they stated this dealership was notified 43 days ago, May 29th & again on June 2 that the Title has not been received and that there was no reply from this dealership. I feel that I have been lied to and there has been no sense of urgency shown from this dealership. When I asked for a newer, 2nd key to the SUV (the key that I was given was/is completely worn), I was told that since the cost of the vehicle was negotiated no 2nd key was allowed. $31K+ spent and that is the reply a customer is given? Wow! I understand if that is not possible, but that is the reason given? Today, my plan was to return the vehicle. We all work too hard daily to give our money away to businesses that do not value our time and purchase(s). Today I spoke with the GM, so hopefully resolutions for the Title/Lien/License plate issues will be expedited. He gave me a Target Date for resolution, so I am looking forward to that resolution. If not, I will be returning the vehicle on that given Target Date. In addition, this could negatively impact my family and I from an insurance standpoint also. This has been an absolute awful experience. More

Would give them no stars if possibe. Made contact with sales person, ask for more pictures and a video only received the pictures then I tried contacting them for a few days straight no response they told sales person, ask for more pictures and a video only received the pictures then I tried contacting them for a few days straight no response they told me someone is taking care of it and just passed it on from one to another. I called in today about the raptor turns out it was sold this morning. I never got the breakdown I asked for. Horrible customer service. More

Frightening experience in Service The guys in the sales department are great (specifically Brandon). Unfortunately, after dealing with the service department I can never go back. After asking to clarify some charges on my service invoice, Steve the service manager raised his voice at me, insulted me in front of customers and employees, and called me into his office to intimidate me. I hope nobody ever has to deal with him again, and if management is aware of his behavior, then they are truly negligent in letting him interact with customers. More

Incompetence in service no integrity in management I brought my Ford F-250 Super Duty In for tires at #CapitalFordCharlotte. After 4 and a half hours the truck was ready. When starting the truck I noti I brought my Ford F-250 Super Duty In for tires at #CapitalFordCharlotte. After 4 and a half hours the truck was ready. When starting the truck I noticed my tire pressure on all four wheels was at 45 psi. Ford calls for 75psi on the rear tires and 60psi on the front. I brought this to their attention and after they adjusted I was now getting messages the front were over inflated and rear were under. They placed the tire sensors back in the wrong positions and it took approximately 30-45 minutes while they re-programmed the sensors. They apologized and they stated they were training someone new. My rims were left greasy and not even wiped off. When I paid (approx $890) they kept telling me my debit card had been declined. Finally they said it went through. When I woke up Monday morning they had in fact charged me 4 times. I contacted the bank and the dealer (actually drove to the dealer). My bank did make the correction. Fast forward 11,000 miles. My truck is now due for a set of tires. Yes! 11,000 miles. Upon inspection it was found that the dealer had installed a passenger vehicle rated tire instead of an LT tire. This they would have known based upon the tire pressure rating on the tire sidewall (tire manufacturer stated 45psi max. They in fact inflated a tire to double that which the tire manufacturer recommended. I immediately contacted the dealer. After researching they admitted they installed the wrong tire. They then went on to tell me the service advisor who handled the transaction was no longer with them. They also stated the truck should have gone to their truck shop and not the quick lane. Really? Think about that. They then stated they would split the difference in price from what I paid vs what the correct tire would have been. Sounds good right? Wrong! They are telling me the same tire in an LT rating is almost double. I went to another Ford dealer and In writing was told the Michelin LT with alignment was just under $1100. Less than a $300 difference. I contacted Ford customer service and was issued a ticket number and was told they would research. I then received a call back stating they received no response. Finally after getting in touch with the Finance Manager at Capital Ford I was told the same thing. Yes, those tires never should have been installed. Wow! He agrees. Thought I’m getting somewhere. Nope! Just received a call back and was told the best they would do was what I was quoted. Even though I had a written estimate from another ford dealer. What happened to price matching? Don’t they say they will beat any competitors price? Of course they do. To get you in the door. The fact of the matter is this. They were wrong. Not me. They put myself and my family in an unsafe situation. They let an untrained individual install equipment he was obviously not qualified to install. They are dishonest and have zero integrity. They do not stand behind their work. I’m lucky I haven’t had a blow out and killed myself or much worse, someone else. I would not and will not ever recommend #capitalFord in Charlotte or any Capital Ford location. They can’t service what they sell. Your better off trying a small lot that may actually know what integrity is.
