Third time a charm! As my title states "third time a charm" is exactly as I mean it. I've dealt with Capitol Chevrolet three times and each time just gets better! Now u As my title states "third time a charm" is exactly as I mean it. I've dealt with Capitol Chevrolet three times and each time just gets better! Now understand, I've bought used vehicles all times and have never been disappointed. Though the make was not Chevrolet every time, at all times Capitol made sure that I was 100% satisfied each and every time. The latest was by far the greatest! I was looking for a mid-2000 Ford F150 with Super crew cab. My sales person was Ed Maynard. Ed showed me some new Chevrolet's but, he knew I was looking for a particular Ford with options and my price demand. Within 24 hours he scored MY vehicle! Though there were obstacles (sister dealership playing hardball to surrender vehicle to potential confirmed buyer (ME). deal was secured within 24 hours! Draw backs, hum? Sister dealership allowing a customer to schedule an all day appointment on a vehicle on the assumption of a sale on "I'll think about it". In my humble opinion 0900-1000 hours that's an appointment! Snooze you loose. Love the contract for the dealership "No cooling off period", should apply to "appointments"! Vehicle detailing service??? What? Vehicle washed, doubtful, tires sprayed with crap! After a nights rain, looked like the vehicle drove through a chocolate puddle. I felt finance dept. could have worked better at a rate but, refinance anyway, no love loss there. Now for the crowning jewel of the experience, Ed Maynard! He was the BEST! Knew what I wanted and didn't pressure me into something I didn't want. Went above and beyond and got me the vehicle I wanted and really desired. He MADE the sale! Capitol Chevrolet has a great sales representative in Ed, pleasant and understanding. He removes the stigma of the bottom level of xxxx is inhabited by Lawyers, Politicians and Car Salesman! So, the take a ways from the experience? Sales rep, excellent A+! inter dealership interaction C, finance B and detail department D. What a mixed bag! Am I severely critical? Yes! Aren't you when you are going to put thousands on the line?
