Being married for almost a decade and having 4 kids, the need for dependable transportation goes without saying. Every vehicle we have had before and during our marriage, came with 2 previous owners or more. Claiborne "Clai" Smith was our salesman and saying he was excellent was an understatement. After explaining that we were strictly looking for used vehicles and needed an extended warranty, he obliged and showed us the inventory. He took a genuine interest in what our goal was for trading in our 2008 vehicle for an only slightly newer 2010 with almost the same mileage. We explained that we were in no shape to pay a car note as well as constant repair bills. "Clai" found other vehicles in the inventory and explained all of the dealer rebates that new vehicles had to offer. Not only does Capitol Chevrolet have excellent rebates and incentives but the Black Friday Special pretty much gave us the right wiggle room in our budget to seal the deal. After all was said and done, Clai and Fionne the finance manager had us drive out in a 2016 Traverse with 11 miles on it with the same payment that we were willing to pay on a 2010. We cannot thank them both for working with us and showing us how we could own a new vehicle!! More

Excellent Service I am from Panama City, Fl. and was on the way to my grandmother's funeral in Tennessee when my truck broke down on I-65. It was the middle of the nig I am from Panama City, Fl. and was on the way to my grandmother's funeral in Tennessee when my truck broke down on I-65. It was the middle of the night and had it towed to the nearest dealership, which is Capital Chevy. He had their valet driver take me to several rental car offices, but no one had a car large enough for our family. Three hours later, down and out with no car, I called our service advisor Chris back to see if his driver could perhaps take us to the airport so we could somehow find a car there. He put me on hold for about five minutes. When he came back to the phone, he said his driver was on his way back to pick us up, they had a new Tahoe for us to use for the next couple days to get to the funeral. I have never in my life had a dealership offer something like that to me or anyone I know. I was just someone passing through town, they had never met, and here they were letting me use one of their cars. I can't say thank you enough!! More

Help for a traveller in distress I was on a road trip from Canada to Florida. Somehow I managed to hit a ditch in the dark on Sunday night and damaged the front end under the bumper. I was on a road trip from Canada to Florida. Somehow I managed to hit a ditch in the dark on Sunday night and damaged the front end under the bumper. Monday morning Chris Kynard and Benny Medina met me at the service desk when my car was towed in by OnStar Roadside Assistance. Benny immediately put me at ease with his calm and knowledgeable approach. Glenda Steele put me in a Equinox so I could continue my travels. Chris called me the next day with an estimate and assured me that the car would be ready a few days later on my return trip. He called me again on Thursday to let me know that everything was repaired. When I came back on Friday the car was ready, charged and washed. Chris and Benny showed me the damaged parts and explained what had been repaired. Benny drove the car twice to ensure that all the systems were properly flushed. I was a foreigner at the mercy of strangers. They treated me with respect, did an excellent repair, and charged a reasonable amount. I highly recommend Chris, Benny, and Glenda at Capitol Chevrolet in Montgomery AL to anyone that needs service on their car. More
