Initially, I was eager to acquire a 2024 C8 Corvette at a discounted price of $7,700 below MSRP. Salesperson Alexis facilitated a remote vehicle evaluation via video. Upon revealing my plan to pay half upfront and finance the balance through my bank, the dealership incorporated hidden fees and unwanted protection plans, adjusting the price. Alexis offered two options: paying full MSRP or financing through GM at an interest rate nearly triple that of my bank, justifying the additions based on the reduced price, which constitutes deceptive marketing. Additionally, they attempted to impose unwanted features and misrepresented military discount eligibility criteria for Corvette purchases.
