I brought my car in for routine maintenance including a tire inspection and rotation. When I picked the car up, the low tire pressure alert lit up before I could even drive off the lot. I immediately broug tire inspection and rotation. When I picked the car up, the low tire pressure alert lit up before I could even drive off the lot. I immediately brought it back and Nick took a look and quickly discovered a nail in the tire. Nick was extremely apologetic and swiftly set me up with a loaner vehicle and got my car back in line to have the tire repaired. I was very unhappy with the fact that the repair team missed the giant nail in my tire and obviously did NOT do the inspection, but Nick’s service more than made up for it. More
On inspection, “service needed” was based on dealer recommendations based on mileage or time, not on the actual condition of my car so was not helpful. The sticker from my last oil change which was at recommendations based on mileage or time, not on the actual condition of my car so was not helpful. The sticker from my last oil change which was at another facility was clearly displayed on my windshield so it should have been obvious to the technician that service had been received since I had been to Capital Mazda. I was treated with respect and kindness. Sameer was very knowledgeable, helpful and made sure I was taken care of. Crystal in finance was friendly and professional at the same time. I appreciate that I was able to be seen without an appointment, however the entire experience felt like one big joke - that I paid $167 for. My battery maintenance light was on and the car had been di appointment, however the entire experience felt like one big joke - that I paid $167 for. My battery maintenance light was on and the car had been difficult to start. I came in and was told they'd need approx. 1.5 hours to run a diagnostic test, costing $167.00. I agreed and gave them my cell number thinking they'd notify me when the test was finished. TWO HOURS later, I walked up to the service technician and asked about my vehicle. They either hadn't gotten to it or were just finishing up the diagnostics. Either way, it felt fishy. Twenty minutes later, I demanded my car back. The technician stated that yes, I needed a new battery (duh) for the cost of $600.00! She mentioned the components of the Mazda battery and why I would need to have that particular battery. I was DONE. I got my car, drove home and called AAA. New battery for $250.00 installed in my driveway. More
