This dont deserve any star period! Service department is the worst I've been. had me waited an hour and half on my appointment still no one help until I pressed them hard. Honda wasn’t helpful at all. Just went there the other day. Yes they were friendly and accomodating. Upon my arrival at the service center with my 2021 honda crv still under warr Just went there the other day. Yes they were friendly and accomodating. Upon my arrival at the service center with my 2021 honda crv still under warranty, took the crv from home have it towed to the dealer location to fix for 5 broken wheel studs. I left the car there for them to inspect, next day they told me that the car isn’t part of factory defects and they said its not covered by the warranty. And if i have to fix it there i need to pay $900+ for it. That’s steep and no way I’d pay that too much. That’s when I decided not to have it serviced. To think that the car has bumper to bumper warranty which they don’t honor it as well aside from basic warranty, car is still new, have 15k miles on it and its a lease. So I took to it my trusted ex-honda service tech and just charged me $168 for it for the same fix. I’ll never go back to the service center they charge too much even if the car has warranty they gonna make sure there’s a loophole to scam or milk money out from people without knowledge to fix cars. My advice is dont be fooled on their helpful advertisement it’s only marketing to attract people. It’s up to you if you want your car to be serviced to the dealership. Its better to buy OEM or original parts from Honda and have it seviced on your trusted Independent Mechanics and technicians who once worked for the dealership. More

Don't go to this dealer for service! !!! My mom took her 2020 Civic with only 5000 miles and the service rep told her to change brake fluid and oil change for the second time. The brake a !!! Worse of all, it charge her $450 for both service with $360 in labor. Wow, are they charging about $180 per hour or what. What a ripe off. Stay away from dishonest dealer. More
They are scammers, they ripped me off with thousands of dolars and everything remains the same, tired of calling these people, they do not care about answering my calls after leaving so many messages with dolars and everything remains the same, tired of calling these people, they do not care about answering my calls after leaving so many messages with my phone number and my name they do not care about returning my calls; but I will show up tomorrow. Oil/filter change and tire rotation 10/6/18 After suffering two ordeals at two different Honda dealers, I decided to give El Monte Honda a try. I arrived at the dealership’s service center a f After suffering two ordeals at two different Honda dealers, I decided to give El Monte Honda a try. I arrived at the dealership’s service center a few minutes before it’s 7:00 a.m. opening time. There were a several customers ahead of me, but once the spacious arrival area was opened up- the customers were promptly greeted and we were questioned about our reasons for being there. A few minutes later I was greeted by Service Advisor, Ken Okimoto. I was processed in, and I was given an written estimate for the oil/ filter change, and the tire rotation. I was told that I would be contacted should the mechanic find any additional issue that I might need to be made aware of. I was also given an estimate for how long it was going to take. I received a text message advising me that my car was ready. I walked over to Ken O’s office, where I was able to pay, as well as, pick up my car and drive home. I was surprised that no mention was made about the cabin filter, and the engine air filter- since the previous dealership recommended that both be changed during both my 30,000 and 40,000 mile service. (were both bad both times?) I trust that this time, they were both inspected, and that they were found to be acceptable. This resulted in a savings to me of about $100.00. I plan to continue having my car serviced at El Monte Honda- I will ask for Ken Okimoto. More
