I did a lot of research and decided on a CARMAX CAR. It had to be transferred fromHouston to Austin. But, the online update info was slow to post, incorrect, or just not there. I called numerous times but only got folks from call centers. They all gave me courteous, but different info. One did help me get express checkout set up. I finally got my local dealship’s direct number to get accurate info. When car was ready for test drive and purchase, the whole process from test drive to leaving in my new car was ONLY 30 MINUTES. That was GREAT! Suggestions, redo website and BETA check before going live. Also, give direct contact info to prospective customers. I would buy from Carmax again, but get in touch with local dealer immediately after reserving car online for actual timelines for transport and test drive. More

It was a pleasure working with Brad to purchase my new vehicle and trade in my old car. I have bought a total of 5 cars at CarMax, and 2. 5 at this one i keep returning to CarMax for peace of mind around buying a used car. One car I bought else CarMax-where turned out to be a lemon, a 5 at this one i keep returning to CarMax for peace of mind around buying a used car. One car I bought else CarMax-where turned out to be a lemon, and I used the extended warranty at the car dealer to get it repeatedly fixed. The warranty always worked and for 3 times the amount I paid for it. You don't want to need that thing, but I was glad I had it! Lemons happen, new and used, but I worry much more about used cars. The '2.5' above is because the last car I bought had a sunroof issue that GM could not fix. This CarMax dealer did the right thing, bought me out of the deal for everything I had in it, applied it to a different car I wanted, shipped it to there, and set me up about as painlessly as it is possible. They stood behind that sale. Put me in a car that works perfectly.
