I called on 9/10 after receiving zero communication from the dealership about my transfer and could not get an answer. I called back on 9/17 and was told there was a title issue but that they had received the title that week so I could come pick up the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle on 9/17 and on 9/18 it wouldn’t start. It was apparent the battery terminal had been messed with and the vehicle I purchased had less than 5,200 miles on it so the battery should have been replaced. I called and spoke to Kiyah and was told I could return the car or bring it in for service. I had to explain multiple times it wouldn’t start. She also stated it wasn’t their issue because they had only had the car on site for a single business day to which I told her that they had the car onsite for almost three weeks. She told me that she was in charge of reviewing titles and should have called to update me on the delays but didn’t. I was told I would get a call from Mr. Evans in the service department on 9/20 and it’s 9/25 and I have yet to review any communication. Chris was exceptional to work with but the remainder of the staff that I have interacted with has been dismissive and not the least bit professional or proactive so I would not recommend this option to anyone in the market for a new car nor will I consider Carmax in the future. More

I would recommend Rocky if you come by a car here at Carmax in Independence, MO. After the Sale has been not so great. The BMW i bought sprung an Oil leak 5 days after. and unfortunately i had to have the car towed, which to Carmax's credit, they are covering and will presumably cover the costs of repair and the loaner as part of the 30 day warranty. what sucks is that i will have to wait at least 4 business days for them to even look at the car and determine if its a simple fix they can do in house, or if they will have to outsource the issue and repair to a 3rd party who specializes in european cars. time will tell. More

We have had a lot of problems with our used BMW in the first month. Right after pickup we noticed one of our mirrors would not adjust. A part had to be ordered to fix it which they did. Also, the car was advertised as having apple carplay. We pointed out to them that we couldn’t get it to work and they handed us a sheet printed from a google gemini inquiry. We had already tried everything on the sheet and so I reached out to BMW and was told it didn’t have Apple CarPlay and it could not be added. More
