Drew Cuffee and his manager, Dan D. , at carmax west broad are disrespectful, lazy, impatient, and abrasive xxxxxxxx. Drew, the salesman, does not deserve any commission for this. It wa , at carmax west broad are disrespectful, lazy, impatient, and abrasive xxxxxxxx. Drew, the salesman, does not deserve any commission for this. It was all online, and I shipped the car there. So he did absolutely nothing besides xxxx me the xxxx off and almost deterred me from moving forward with them before and after the test drive. I made the purchase despite my unpleasant interactions with them. He and the manager would only give mumbo jumbo answers about the 30 day warranty, and accused me of “not listening” when I asked for more direct/concrete assurances about the policies. After probing about an apparent defect in the car discovered during test drive, they eventually promised to “put a to-do in with the service department,” and said that the service dept would call me to schedule a repair. Two days after I purchased the car, he texts me and says I now have to call the service department myself to explain the defect again to get on their schedule. They were completely impatient, disrespectful, and lazy. They should not be speaking to any customers that way. Another mistake I didn’t realize until a week later when I checked for the registration card that he placed in the glovebox. Upon purchase, Drew incorrectly assigned the dmv registration for the plates to the wrong VIN. They were registered to a random Hyundai accent hatchback, when I purchased a Nissan Murano. No wonder he and his manager had the rude demeanor of someone that did not want to do anything besides collect paychecks for idling. Sorry that I asked them to do their jobs. They couldn’t even do simple tasks correctly like honestly, directly, and respectfully communicating with customers nor assigning the dmv registration to the correct vehicle. Drew should prioritize limiting mistakes rather than rushing through the process as fast as he possibly could so that he can receive an undeserved commission before promptly returning to idling around. After the test drive, Drew rudely and repeatedly said “Do you want the car or not” over and over before sending Dan, the manager, over. Dan was also riddled with mumbo jumbo talk. He was just as rude and impatient. They both refused to show me the 10 day return and 30 day warranty policies. I used to referee youth soccer games with both of them. I remember Drew even told me his sales approach was to only handle online orders so that he could get a commission while not having to do anything. More
Our salesman Bob was excellent, very knowledgeable and attentive. We had 2 cars shipped- the first has numerous significant imperfections that were not noted online.
