Poor Customer Service in every department from Sales to Administrative. I would avoid doing business with this company by all means. My objective of purchasing a reliable pre-owned vehicle and to receive great customer service was not even close to acheiveing my goal. CARMAX sold me a high mileage "LEMON" ,that was many years old for an outrageous price. Within the three months that I owned the car, it was in the shop more times than I had made payments. To add, the Extended Service plan is a "RIP off" and I never received any so called loaner. When my car was towed back to CARMAX about 45 days after purchase,I had to pay $2500.to get out of the deal. I could not afford to maintain a vehicle that stopped running at every approaching stop light. So I opted to sale the car back to the dealership and walk away trouble free. They only want your MONEY. They will charge you the highest interest rates even with your 700 credit scores. When it's time to resolve poor customer service issues no one cares, and your calls will go directly into voicemail. To preclude this from happening to any one you care about,please pass this important information onto at least 10 potential consumers. More
