I purchased a $40,000 vehicle. I am currently still dealing with service to get the vehicle up and running properly. This was the best car buying experience ever in 50 years of driving . I was in and out in less than 2 hours. The process was so stream lined and never did I feel rushed or lied to. This was our first experience with CarMax and the service was amazing! The staff was very welcoming, straightforward with their intentions of getting us the car we wanted, and went above and beyond to addres was amazing! Sadiq Saddrudin was our sales associated and he was hands down one of the kindest car salesmen we’ve ever worked with. He was receptive to our concerns, equipped with a smile, and provided great insight. We’ve had many poor experiences with other dealerships, but CarMax Plano made it clear that they weren’t in it to scam us and what they presented us is what we got. Also thank you to Kimberly and Owais who were very friendly and great to work with as well. Definitely recommend and will return if we’re on the market again. More

If I could rate lower I would. This is by far the worst experience I have had with the purchase and moreover the service at CarMax. You sold me a car with a bent sub frame and mult This is by far the worst experience I have had with the purchase and moreover the service at CarMax. You sold me a car with a bent sub frame and multiple other issues. I returned the car twice to have repairs done. The first visit my car was returned with a few of the items repaired but they pulled the car onto a curb and claimed that’s what the front splitter is for on a sports car. The second visit a few more small items were repaired but I still have a low engine knock and a safety gear switch damaged as well as squeaking brakes. I had to prove the window seal was leaking water by purchasing a bottle of water and showing the service personnel as well as a series of photos and videos for multiple other issues. Rick was very helpful in the beginning we went in for an appraisal on a vehicle we had bought previously at another carmax. It was time for an upgrade. We looked at vehicles that were comparably equipped appraisal on a vehicle we had bought previously at another carmax. It was time for an upgrade. We looked at vehicles that were comparably equipped to our current vehicle. After some time we went back to find our appraisal offer. It was way lower than expected. This pushed us into a range that we did not want to be in. Rick said he had one that would meet our needs and price level. What he brought back was not what we wanted. He got a little upset when it was apparent we were not wanting a test drive. I understand that we had taken up about 45 minutes of his time at that point but, I do not appreciate being pushed into something I was not interested in. More
