I paid cash for a vehicle that I had shipped from Texas to California. The whole process was very efficient and accurate. Keesh was my representative from Carmax. I was not impressed w/my CarMax experience. I was told by the salesperson that Car Max doesn't accept pre-approval letters. My credit union was shocked when I told them this as they said they I was told by the salesperson that Car Max doesn't accept pre-approval letters. My credit union was shocked when I told them this as they said they do this all of the time. I was given a piece of paper by my salesperson to take to my credit union so I could get the ball rolling myself and I was given the wrong paperwork. During this fiasco I asked if the car would be held for me and was told they would do their best. I don't feel the salesperson initiated actually wanting to make a sale. I had to ask certain questions that I feel he should have asked me. I did purchase the vehicle and the actual final sale process and paperwork went very smoothly and I was very impressed by the young lady that I signed my final paperwork with. I would "maybe" recommend this dealership. More
