I cannot say enough good things about this CarMax dealership in Fredericksburg. My experience was flawless. I found several cars I liked online, went to the dealership to test drive them and ended dealership in Fredericksburg. My experience was flawless. Everything was seamless and easy. From finding the car I wanted, road testing it and then working through the sales team, it was super easy. More
Initially it was not a great experience however the buying process was easy. The original salesman was not kind at all and the service man in the end after the car was bought and would not start was no buying process was easy. Not the best Car Max experience. I have purchased several vehicles from car max but this is not the best. Bought the car in April 2023. Went for its first oil change and my mechanic said it was low and I need to keep an eye on it. Car had a leak on both sides of the engine, which was repaired (by Sheehy because CarMax didn't have the tools to fix it). Even after the repairs, the car is still consuming oil at an alarming rate (1 quart per 700-1000 miles). The warranty that CarMax pushed onto me through Fidelity Warranty services is refusing to cover the cost and CarMax is also refusing to pay. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office. I also have a meeting with a lawyer and have reached out to some local newspapers as well. More
