I still cant get over how stress free it was to buy a car at CarMax. It was the most stress free car buying experience I have ever had. No back and forth with the salesman. This was my first car purchase through CarMax and I am very pleased with how it went. The employees at the dealership were pleasant and friendly. I have two complaints: 1. They low-balled me on my trade- very pleased with how it went. The employees at the dealership were pleasant and friendly. I have two complaints: 1. They low-balled me on my trade-in. They offered me $5600 and I was able to sell it to Carvana for $7600. 2. The actual pruchase/pick up of the car took much longer than I expected. I had done all the pre-purchase work in advance so that my pickup experience would take about 20-30 minutes, however I was there for almost 2 hours. To be fair, I added the MaxCare warranty at the last minute, so it's likely they had to re-do the paperwork, but even the process of printing out the paperwork and getting whoever else on the CarMax team to process the paperwork took a painfully long time. All of that said, I will definitely look to CarMax again for my next purchase. More
