This was my first experience with CarMax, and I am so glad that I followed the advice of a friend who recommended them to me! The whole process of purchasing a vehicle was pretty daunting to me, but my glad that I followed the advice of a friend who recommended them to me! The whole process of purchasing a vehicle was pretty daunting to me, but my sale consultant Triniti Townsell was so helpful in explaining the process and locating a vehicle for transfer from a southern CA CarMax when the Fairfield location did not have exactly what I was looking for on their lot. Very grateful for both her patience and professionalism. Highly recommend! More

Staff was pleasant to my wife and I but daughter has had an entirely different experience. We made an appointment, test drove the truck without a CarMax employee onboard, came back and walked around, made a decision and pulled the trigger. Easy. Only one issue; CarMax would not do paperwork to transfer personalized license plates. I have had them for 40 years and first place or dealership that would not do it. Not a deal breaker but a pain for me. More

Thank you, Trinity for the truly outstanding job you did and helping my dad find a replacement vehicle. We came into this experience coming out of a difficult situation with our previous purchase from C and helping my dad find a replacement vehicle. We came into this experience coming out of a difficult situation with our previous purchase from Carmax in Fairfield and understandably there were some concerns and hesitations on our end. From the very beginning, Trinity handled everything with professionalism composure and genuine care, she really took the time to listen and understand our concerns and to make sure we felt heard. What stood out most was her ability to represent us as customers and consistently do what was right! When my father noticed a few imperfections with the vehicle that seemed to be a bit more than normal wear and tear. Trinity didn’t dismiss our concerns, instead she advocated for him, took his observation seriously and work to ensure the situation was addressed appropriately. That level of customer advocacy is rare and deeply appreciated! Throughout the entire process she remained calm, respectful, and solution focused. Her customer service skills are exceptional, and she truly made us feel valued and supported, even though we didn’t get the outcome we were hoping for. Trinity is an absolute rockstar, Carmax is lucky to have her on their team. Thank you Trinity for turning what could’ve been a stressful experience into a positive one for my dad and our family!
