This was my first time in a decade shopping for a new car. It’s an overwhelming process but I feel like CarMax and the team that helped me made it as stress free as possible. They had a nice variety of different cars at different price points. Something for everyone! I also did a trade in and I feel the offer was fair enough. Everything was pretty easy in terms of reserving which cars you like online, setting up a test drive, and getting the process started for a loan application. I will say (if you have the option) definitely seek a loan option outside of CarMax though… you can almost definitely find a better deal. A notable shoutout to the salesman that helped me Charles Sunday (which sounds like it should be an old jazz singers name— in a good way). He was honest and friendly. Always available to answer whatever questions I had. Helped to get the process going but I never felt like he was being pushy. Few people master the art of true customer service. He deserves a raise! I have an appointment coming up with the service team and I have no doubt my concerns will be handled with care. More
