My experience was average. I had an appointment for a reserved vehicle that I had shipped to my local location. I was greeted promptly, however I thought the agent would walk m I had an appointment for a reserved vehicle that I had shipped to my local location. I was greeted promptly, however I thought the agent would walk me to the vehicle in the lot, I was surprised that I was given directions to locate the vehicle and inspect. Although I was okay with that I saw others with agents walking through the lot. I actually was interested in purchasing 2 vehicles but without an agent that I could ask questions I decided to hold off my second vehicle. After my test drive I went in and spoke to the agent and was told that my vehicle might be released to others if I waited more than a day. But looking back at the website a reserved vehicle that was shipped on behalf should have had a seven day reserve (that was my understanding) so that was misleading. This is the second time I have put OA vehicle at CarMax but the Roseville Ca location was much more attentive. The agent at this location was okay but I decided not to mention my desire to buy a second vehicle because I would have liked someone to show me around the lot. Also, I wish there were more people who could show me the details about the car, I had several questions that no one could answer specific to the make and model. Instead I went on line to YouTube to learn about the vehicle. The purchase process was quick as I paid cash no financing. I am still interested in purchasing another vehicle for my son, however I am not sure I will go to the same location or through the same dealership. I think the reason I didn’t score higher is because of the 7 day reserve that was listed on the website, it’s misleading if the website says on thing but then the buyer is told the vehicle could be released the moment I left the dealership. Note; as soon as the car arrived at the location I made an appointment the very next day it was available for the test drive. And yes I paid for shipping. More
