As with all our Certified vehicles, you were provided with a no-cost, 6-month/ 6,000-mile, bumper-to-bumper warranty through CarShop which covers any necessary repairs related to the alignment. As you know, we have performed two separate alignments for you, and both show the vehicle within normal specifications. Our service manager, Henry Oswald, is going to share a video with you of him driving your vehicle yesterday. It shows the steering wheel and alignment operating as it should. As we have communicated to you, our next step is to road test the vehicle along with you to see exactly what you are experiencing. We are still awaiting your response of when you are able to do so. Mr. Graff, Thank you for your repeat business. As you know, at CarShop, we pride ourselves on being 100% transparent. When we conduct an appraisal, we perform an “initial” inspection of the vehicle which consists of a test drive, a vehicle history check, and a review of the exterior/interior of the vehicle, amongst other things. At that time, we also present an offer pending the results of a mechanical inspection. In your particular situation, when the technician performed the mechanical inspection, we discovered that the rear differential would have to be replaced and the vehicle had a severe oil leak which was not apparent before the car was on a lift. Due to the significant nature of the required repairs, we adjusted our actual offer for your vehicle to reflect your vehicle’s market value in its current mechanical condition. If the vehicle had a “severe oil leak” it should have been apparent to the person who appraised it. You coincidentally lowered the offer as soon as you knew that I wasn’t going to purchase another vehicle from your dealership.
