After doing some research and looking at several apps and websites I discovered this dealership had several models that made my short list. I was able to compare and test drive a lot of high quality cars from different manufacturers over the course of an afternoon. Long story short, I went in to kick tires but came back the next day and purchased exactly what I was looking for. Friendly staff. Nice cars. Pressure free environment. I'd buy from them again. More

You WILL get a fair deal here. I didn't think it was possible that people cared as much about customer satisfaction as these individuals do. Sure, it's a business but, I think their mission is to be fair and good to their customers and business will follow. And it does. And it will continue. It's the gift that keeps on giving. You can tell a lot about a business by the way they interact with their co-workers. This team is cohesive and treated each other with the utmost respect. That means a lot. If you can see that in a business, you know they have great leadership and are "living the mission." Many times, in car buying situations, the salespeople are so caustic to each other that it makes an already stressful situation, toxic. It's a no haggle sale, but the experience is 100% better than a CarMax experience. I've had both and I can tell you that, at a locally owned business, such as CarSmart in Hendersonville, you are not a number or just a sale. Tyler started there detailing cars as his first job. After he finished school, he served as a mechanic for a number of years, prior to moving into sales. He understands what CarSmart looks for and rejects when they purchase inventory to sell to us, the customers. And while these are, indeed, used cars, as is, no warranty, they make sure that what you drive away in is in working order, safe, clean and ready for the road. The staff speaks so highly of each other and particularly about Guy Alfieri, the owner. While I did not deal with him, in person, he took the time, while on vacation to email me back and make sure I had the info I needed about the dealership hours. Oh and the car - Amazing. Very fair price, in fact the best price I found on this vehicle. I'm very happy with the vehicle but just as happy about the experience. I highly encourage you, if you are in the market for a new or used car, to contact these folks. You won't be sorry. More
Quick, simple, straight to the point! My experience with Carsmart.net was reasonably good. I came to look at one specific vehicle that I saw online on autotrader. The very first time that My experience with Carsmart.net was reasonably good. I came to look at one specific vehicle that I saw online on autotrader. The very first time that I came to the car lot, the vehicle wasn't on the lot, but I spoke with Lew. He gave me specifics about the vehicle and scheduled a date for test driving. When I came back, as promised, the vehicle was there and ready for test driving. I wasn't fast talked or pressured in any way. Neither was I redirected to higher costing vehicles or anything of that nature. After the test drive, Lew reviewed the car fax report with me, which revealed conflicting information than that provided on the website. Specifically, the website advised that the vehicle had only one owner. The car fax report advised that there were more owners. However, the vehicle was solid and there seemed to be no apparent issues, which that's what I look for in car buying. Again, Lew was very informative and was extremely easy to work with. I purchased the vehicle on that day. After, purchasing, I noticed an issue with the keyless entry remote; it didn't work. Before I left I got out and told Lew. He was very apologetic and resolved the issue in a timely fashion. Steve Iler, the finance manager was also very professional. He explained every page that I signed. I do recommend this car lot and would purchase another vehicle from here. More

I was given straight forward information, a more than fair price on a great vehicle with low mileage. Most importantly, Guy and Tyler provided First Class customer service from ordering to delivering. I will definitely trust CarSmart to service my new truck and plan to refer them to any of my friends looking for a vehicle. More

Good Start, disappointing close, decent recovery I went originally to look at a 2013 Honda Accord. I test drove the car and decided to not get the car, primarily due to engine sounds. Drove the car, liked it. Bought it. Originally, I was going to do my own financing, the dealership had me run through Wells Fargo and I received a better rate. The staff was friendly for the most part. Now, the issues. 1. There were some scratches that I was told would be take care of. In looking at the car, it was debatable if this was done. 2. There was low pressure in one tire when I test drove the car. The dealership said they would take care of that. They put air in the tire. The tire is constantly 4 to 5lb Psi under the other three tires and today the low tire pressure light came on. The same tire is showing low. For supposedly doing an inspection on the car, how hard is it to check it for a leak? 3. The car came with one key. I was told that we can bring the car back, with key for the "key lady" to come and make a copy of. I was told that this would be done at CarSmart cost and as one salesman said, at their expense. After a delay of a couple of weeks and a couple of hours, my wife brought the car in. She was shocked to find out that "CarSmart Cost" means that we would be responsible for all the costs, but at the CarSmart rate. My wife said something to Steve, who pointed to a paper I signed saying CarSmart is under no obligation to do anything else to the car. Eventually, it was agreed that my wife would pay half price. Half price is a good rate, but three issues here: A. Very deceiving. CarSmart needs to be more clear and up front about how the key process is done. If I am going to be responsible for an extra key, make it clear. This honestly turned a five star experience to a 2-3 star experience. B. Paul had me sign the paper saying CarSmart was not responsible for any other changes to car before I took the car home. This is my fault, but Paul explained that I am signing this ahead of time knowing that Carsmart was doing some scratch repair per Tyler (per Tyler) the tire and the key. There seemed to be a big push to get the deal done right there. The fact this was used in the conversation with my wife was pretty shady. . C. I followed-up with Tyler a few times about the key lady coming. I realize folks get busy, but I was trying to time this up best I could with my family's schedule. I don't see why CarSmart couldn't go ahead and have a second key made before the sale or let me know 24 to 48 hours in advance the key lady was coming. Bottom line: Service was good initially, but there were some deceitful things along the way that helped CarSmart not stand out. It is a business and I understand that. Be more straightforward and consistent with people. The price on the car was good, though I found others online similar price. Overall, just a fair to average dealership. Update:. Guy reached out to me to try to make things right. We were reimbursed for the key and the staff educated on terminology to use. We were reimbursed for registration due to a miscommunication with the sales staff, thank you Misty. Guy had my car taken to the repair area twice for the tires, pressure checked and checked for a leak. Nothing found, but could have a valve stem leak. I did have a windshield that was filled with no charge, though the windshield will need replaced eventually. I appreciate the effort to make things right. Still, it was inconvenient for everyone right. I appreciate Guy reaching out, he seems like he has a million things going on. I will adjust the overall rating. Bottom line, I recommend checking with Carsmart.net, but don't let the sales staff rush it and do your homework. More
