The salesman (Robert Guffey) was very knowledgeable, considerate, patient and kind. On subsequent visits, he has been very helpful providing guidance to other areas of the dealership when I required further assistance and advice/help regarding the maintenance of my vehicle. I highly recommend Cardinal Honda and specifically, Robert Guffey if you are looking to purchase a new or used car. More
Outstanding experience. I was a little concerned at first because the salesman was young and probably inexperienced. I was very wrong on that issue. There wasn't one question Dan could not answer about the honda CRV I was interested in. He explained all the features and was very courteous at all times. While I was test driving the vehicle he explained more as we went. He handled all issues in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend Dan and Cardinal Honda to anyone looking for a new Vehicle. My dealings with Matt on the financial aspects of the purchase were equally professional and friendly. Not impressed. Bought a 2010 Civic through them, and was advertised as 15,500. After extended warranty and fees, cost me 18,000 total. I had some major life events happen shortly after, and went back to get advertised as 15,500. After extended warranty and fees, cost me 18,000 total. I had some major life events happen shortly after, and went back to get the car appraised to see how much they would buy it back for, and was offered 10,500 (it was kept immaculately clean), equating to a huge loss of 7,500 for 6 weeks of owning the car. If only I had the foresight to know this would end up happening I obviously would not have bought the car. Just your usual car dealer and nothing better. I don't like the fact that they try to give off the image as a dealer that somehow has more "integrity" or whatnot than your usual dealer, and obviously you can get an idea of how much was made off of this sale. This was the first car that I didn't buy with cash, so my first experience with financing a vehicle obviously. I fell for the extended warranty as I thought somehow it was a good deal. They neglected to mention that the "bumper to bumper" warranty is only good for 1 year, and made it sound as if the bumper to bumper warranty would last just as long as the powertrain, as they only told me that it would last to 100k miles. It's not like I was planning on driving over 15k miles in a year so a lot of good that did me, they could at least lay out all the facts beforehand. I would say it would be best to avoid this dealer as there are likely car dealers that will give you all the facts and have more integrity. More
I went saturday morning to check a check engine light it took them two hours.So then i went back cause the light came back on they said we will order your part.Wednesday came i call them to see if my sensor took them two hours.So then i went back cause the light came back on they said we will order your part.Wednesday came i call them to see if my sensor came in and they said they never order it.So then the guy on the phone tells me he is going to call me back he never did.So i drove to a different Honda dealer ship they look at my car i was out of there in a half hour.They my sensor on saturday.iI do can recommend Cardinal Honda for Service. When looking for a car a deposit was left stating financing may be a deal breaker on Saturday at closing. To refund the deposit the financing was a deal breaker. 1 week later called back because deposit still was not refunded was told it was not going to be. Because they were "preparing a car" the transaction was canceled 31 hours prior to supposed delivery. A dealership by a military base robbing a military family member wow that takes nerve. More
I bought a nissan altima 2003 (90,000 mileage) from the cardinal honda dealer for $7000 + registration + tax and another $3000 to get extended warrranty (which they assured will cover bumper to bumper). Told it was preowned by a teacher after google searches I found out that it was owned by one of thier employees and also they dont repair nissan cars in their centre which they did not mention it before. Now I am taking the car for repair everymonth to a nissan dealer and the extended warranty is not covering emmision and paying it for everytime. I almost spent $1500 and the warrranty company almost paid $3000 for other repairs and still the car has problem and the service engine light is on again. I got this car on May,2012. Note: I am driving only 2-5 miles per day so I dont use the car roughly also. More
We were completely ripped off and taken advantage of by Cardinal Honda. When we wanted the problem rectified they completely refused and wouldn't even give us the time of day.
