We understand where you are coming from but please know that you can have your car washed upon request when you arrive. Please note that we are trying to do our part to conserve water during the drought in Nevada as best we can. So, we do not currently wash customer cars without a request. We apologize for the inconvenience and understand why you may have assumed your car would be washed - we are looking into resolving this for all of our customers to be aware of. Thank you for your feedback and the next time you come in, if you want your car washed, please let your service advisor know when you arrive and they will have your car washed when it is given back to you. Thanks again for this feedback - it is helpful for us to make the necessary changes to better take care of you and all of our customers.

It would be helpful if when bringing your car in for service you simply say “we are trying to conserve water and only wash cars if you, the customer, requests it”

Good Afternoon Brandon,As Social Media Director you should not make the above statements until you hear both sides of the story.Many of what you stated is absolutely wrong.I only called a couple of times simply because this was a very complex service matter and I had every right to seek clarification. I never asked Mazda or your dealership for anything.Interstate Batteries Corp. made first contact with Brad. They gave me a full refund and will take care of any cost you incur. You were left with a more expensive battery than the one replaced. Now here is what your concerns should be. When I called Mazda Roadside Service they dispatched Pop A Lock. Both times wrong battery was installed .They should have given me a jump and sent me to get a new warranty battery. Both times 1.5-2 hours late. Why do you use them? Next a staff member treating a first time customer in my opinion in an unsatisfactory way. Your motto of customer first seems to be a myth to me. I deserve an apology at your end for all the stress you caused me. Before you send out incorrect emails , may I suggest some re training and please be sure to share my email with your boss.

Sir, I do apologize for any inconvenience as well as the "every day" comment which was an exaggeration I may have misunderstood from what I was told with the contact between you and the service department. We are always open to hearing both sides of an issue at our store but I do not have the opportunity until someone replies as you have done here, so thank you for getting back to me. Please note that if Pop A Lock was late like that, it is taken into consideration as this is not acceptable to us as much as it would be to you, who had to wait for them. We will be keeping an eye on this to avoid any further frustration from our customers. With that said, as a customer of ours, we would like for this to be turned around for you. Being a customer myself, I sympathize with the battery issue you had and would understandably be frustrated. Please email me so I might be able to assist with how we might be able to do this. Thank you for your response.I do not think anyone likes to be hung up on which I believe Brad did to me in the middle of a question.This would not surprise me if he denied it as it is not in the spirt of your dealership especially for a manager.As far as what you might do to make amends what did you have in mind?

Sir, I understand you are frustrated but I mentioned we may be able to figure something out - this is a 1 off scenario that you have had and therefore I was trying to get you in touch with the service manager to figure something out since I alone do not have the power to do so - I'm a customer service representative for the store. However, it seems the back and forth is not helping us here. Unfortunately, if you have emailed me at my personal address, then I am not getting them and I do not know why. I double checked my personal email twice today and I have only received responses from you on here at DealerRater. We apologize that Pop A Lock was not timely - this is a 3rd party service that we have not had any complaints about up until now and we are looking into this further. I have been told you got a battery at no extra charge to make up for what happened with your battery, and you were or will be reimbursed by Mazda which is what my service manager has told me that he assured you would happen. I'm happy to know you have or will be reimbursed. Based on how this is progressing, I recommend you call back and request a conversation with the service manager to conclude this matter since email seems to only be hindering this already delicate situation. Again, I apologize that this has been more frustrating than it needs to be and if it is in my power to make this better, I will reach out again. Until then, I recommend you give us a call back to resolve at your earliest convenience.

END RESULT. No resolution was reached. More of my time was wasted by Social Media Rep.who had no power to make it better. Apology was never given by Service Mgr.
