I have bought two cars from this dealership. The first one had issues that should have been caught in the 125-point inspection, however the second car i bought there broke in the first 4 days i The first one had issues that should have been caught in the 125-point inspection, however the second car i bought there broke in the first 4 days i had it. I bought a ford escape 2017 from the Norcross carmax and the next day the check engine light turned on. From there it stopped moving 3 days later. I even tried calling to schedule a service appointment ASAP. I could not do that though because the service center is open M-f 7:30am-6pm. The sales guy i had was very nice and as helpful as he could be i guess. DO NOT buy a car from here. it has been the most inconvenient experience ever. More
Rudest business office associates. Sold my car to Carmax almost a month ago now and they didn't send enough for the payoff and I'm still dealing with this mess. Went in and was met by a sassy and rude associate with bright orange hair and was told there was no way for them to look up the information if I didn't provide the last 6 of the vin of the car I sold them a couple weeks ago. I said there is definitely another way and was met with a snarky response of write down your name and number and step off to the side. Was told a check would be overnighted to the lien holder. Then a week later lienholder calls me because no check was received. Called Carmax again and was told they had to send a message to central business office to get the tracking link for a check for the difference that was supposedly sent and I would get a call back within 24 hours. No call back. So I called and ended up speaking to a lead that ended up just taking my name and number then hung up on me. So rude! Was a former employee too and will never be a customer again if that's how your business office wants to operate. Finally got a call the Monday after that they'd be overnighting another check. Lienholder informed me today (Friday) that no check has arrived as of yet and now they say if they don't receive payment, I have to pay June's car payment. More

The business office for CarMax appears to be totally inept. Our sales person was Cody Turlington, and he did a great job. They set us up with a loan so that we could take the truck home that day, but ou inept. Our sales person was Cody Turlington, and he did a great job. They set us up with a loan so that we could take the truck home that day, but our credit union sent a check for the payoff on the loan the very next day. although it has been verified that they received the check for the full payoff of the car, they failed to cash it. A month later, they began to harass us for not making payments on the truck, and we repeatedly gave him the information that the truck have been paid off. One time the specialist on the phone would say if they had sent the check back, and then another time they would say they were holding the check because it was the wrong amount. Eventually they admitted that the amount of the check was the exact right amount, and have repeatedly said that they would fix it. but each time that they say that they're going to fix it, we got a phone call within the next 4 or 5 days telling us that they have reported us to the credit bureau for not making our loan payments. At which point we start all over again and tell them that we've already paid off the truck. At this point I have had to file a complaint with the Federal consumer finance protection bureau. it still has not been resolved, and we bought the truck 2 months ago. More
