The service dept. is not great. My car was there for 3 days. Nobody called me to provide status of my car. I called multiple times and got the answering service who sa is not great. I called multiple times and got the answering service who said they are leaving notes in my file but the service dept. never checked the notes. I had to go there in person twice to get an update on my car, both times just to be told my car still hadn’t been looked at. I ended up getting a loner car from service and the car reeked of cigarettes. After my car was there for 3 days they couldn’t find anything wrong with my car and there clearly is an issue. Not looking forward to dealing with the service dept. again. More
Clean, spacious, and well organized overall layout of the service center. Our purchasing rep was efficient and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the additional 45-minute long wait that we had for our 2:30 appointment time, which we showed up on time for. It was Saturday afternoon, which is likely the busiest period of the week. However, it would have been a better experience if our wait for a service rep would have taken less time. To our sales rep's credit, she provided us with a free tank of gas as an apology for our earlier wait. More

1. They calim working with Capital One on loans but after tgey pull your credit score they show you 5 CarMax rates and 1 Capital One, which is higher than others. That one Capital One rate is much higher tha tgey pull your credit score they show you 5 CarMax rates and 1 Capital One, which is higher than others. That one Capital One rate is much higher than the pre-approval rates you might have from Capital One. So they "force" you tobtake their loan, which has much higher rates than elsewhere. 2. They give you "we owe you" paper and promise to call you within 72 hours. No call for 2 weeks. I needed to call them and they did not have my repairs in the system. If I did not have a copy of the repair paper, no repairs would be done. ... weird experience, but a geat car for a decent price. More

Joe and Radu were very a coma dating they made my experience with Carmax a very special one.The first car that I purchased the motor blew up they gave me a refund for the full price of the car. Got another car and they gave me new tires just saying never got treated by a dealership in this manor. In the future if I need a new car Carmax here I come. Thank you for a great experience. More
