I purchased my executive EOS from a salesman named John Midkiff, I was only going to take a look at the VW and then continue on to Volvo's but after taking a test drive with John I was hooked! I have purchased 8 cars over the last 8 years from multiple dealership in Mecklenburg and Union County, NC. I initially went in just to window shop with my 15 year old. She got her permit and we were cruising around looking at potential cars. She wanted to look at the VW Bug. We stopped at two dealerships previously and were given the cold shoulder once the sales person realized we were not buying that day and we were only window shopping. When we got to Carolina Volkswagen I was already over my limit of rudeness so my guard was up. Ron approached us and asked if we needed help. I was admittedly rude to him. I said, we are just looking and so forth. He said, " Great, let me help you look. What questions do you have and where would you like to start?" I was completely shocked. Not only did he want to help me but he was doing it with a smile and sincerity in his voice. So...long story short. I came back the next day and tested out the VW Passat for myself. I was unable to decide but did not get that uncomfortable "sales" pressure from Ron or anyone else I spoke with at the dealership that day. The next day, I went in and purchased the VW Passat for myself. Blaine helped me out because it was Ron's day off. Blaine was just as helpful and sincere. He was patient with my question and explained everything about my new vehicle. It was easy, pleasant and I am looking forward to my next experience with Carolina Volkswagen. More

I bought a new Jetta from this dealership in Dec 2008. I recently traded it in at another VW location closer to my home to upgrade to a CC(which I love). I was told that Carolina Volkswagen would provide me recently traded it in at another VW location closer to my home to upgrade to a CC(which I love). I was told that Carolina Volkswagen would provide me a refund for my warranty from the Jetta. It has now been 5 months since initiating this request with them and I still have no check. Their turnover rate is horrendous. I have had to repeat my story 6 times to new people. I thought one manager finally had it all together and told me he faxed my information in to the appropriate people to get me my money. That was over 2 months ago and still no check. And guess what, hes not there anymore! Since then I talked to another manager (2 weeks ago) who promised to help me and now hes not returning my calls. I am going to pursue this to get my money back, even if it means standing in front of their doors telling prospective buyers to go to the South Charlotte location (whose custome service is far superior) Be warned, these guys may be very nice on the phone but it stops there. My wife and I were treated well at the dealership when we went to pick-up the car (off course you can have it delivered for free within 500 miles) but it was on our way!
