I came to visit this dealership as I had been doing research on the Nissan Xterra's and I had found one online listed at 2013, $23K, Xterra S, 11K miles. I knew this was out of my price range as I had research on the Nissan Xterra's and I had found one online listed at 2013, $23K, Xterra S, 11K miles. I knew this was out of my price range as I had done my math and knew what I could afford. So I just noted this one mentally and kept searching. A week or so later, I had gone back online to the dealership website and saw that the price had dropped by $1K. I wanted my dad to go with me to look at the vehicle and relayed to him that we would do so on the weekend as I had set up an appt with Mayra Ramirez to look at the Xterra. We showed up and were greeted right away. We were told we could sit in the black chairs and someone would be with us shortly. We waited about a half hour before I decided to go back to the reception desk to ask how much longer the wait would be. I understood, as we showed up slightly later than the appointment time that it was possible that whomever was to help us, may be with another customer. When I asked how much longer, the receptionist (I failed to get her name) and JJ asked where I had been and where I was sitting. I showed them and right away JJ said that he would be happy to help me. He apologized for the misunderstanding and right away and asked what I was there to see, I let him know that I was there to see the Xterra that I had seen online. I explained that it was the only one showing online. He grabbed the keys and walked us out to the xterra. He had to move some other cars around to get it out from its current position. Once the Xterra was out in full view, I did a full walk around and looked at it inside. I must admit, it was a very clean vehicle. I asked if we could test drive it and he said absolutely. He pulled it over to the front and he took a copy of my license. He came back and jumped in the back seat. We drove it out to the street and took it for a spin on the freeway. I like how it handled. My biggest fear of buying a smaller car than what I currently was driving (99 ford expedition, 5.4L V8) was that it wouldn't have the amount of power that I was looking for. This Xterra did not disappoint. We came back to the dealership and I checked out a couple of things around the vehicle. I asked for JJ's business card and said that I wanted to think about it but thanked him for his time. He said well let's just see what we can do so you can get an idea. I was very honest and explained that it was not realistically in my price range as I was only looking to pay $20K. He said, ok well let's just run some numbers and take a look. So we went inside and sat down in an office. JJ took down my criteria and said to let him see what he could do. A couple minutes after Henry walked in and sat down. He reiterated what information JJ had taken from me and went over my credit score. We then proceeded to talk numbers. I explained what I was really looking to pay and the apr that I had been approved at with my credit union. We played the standard back and forth as many people are aware of when purchasing a new vehicle for themselves. In the end we were able to strike up a deal and I rang the bell, slightly embarrassed by the crowd. :) We sat in the lobby and waited to be called to finance. We sat and met with Lisa and signed papers. She gave me the pros and cons on the warranty and I decided to go with a little extra. We walked out and my dad got in his truck and drove away. JJ handed me the keys to my new (washed and shiny) 2013 Xterra. This was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to refer friends and family here. JJ was great to work with as well as the others. Mr. Cho as young as he is gave excellent customer service through out this entire transaction. I dealt with Mr. Cho on the phone and in person. He initiated the first contact with me via the telephone as a result of seeing my internet inquiry. He was great. He always sent me information on the vehicle I was interested in via email. This was a great way to keep me interested in the vehicle and motivated. He was always consistent. I have a busy schedule and Mr. Cho would leave me voice mails to remind me to contact him. He always apprised me of his work schedule. The one time he couldn't make it he just didn"t a abandon ship. He put me in good hands with Rueben. Rueben was also great. Both of these gentlemen always made me feel that my business was always important and mattered. I never felt that they were just trying to make a sale. They listened to my concerns and were able to deliver to my son a nice pre certified 2012 Nissan Sentra. They understood the vehicle was for my son. Mr. Cho did everything he could in making me feel that I was making the right decision in buying a great vehicle at a great price. It took me three visits to the dealership to finally purchase the vehicle. By the time all was said and done, I was very pleased with my experience at Carson Nissan.
