I drove over 3 hours to purchase my car from Carson Nissan. We agreed to a very good price over the internet(beat my local dealer by $2,100). When I arrived the car was there. They showed me a contract at $200 *under* what they had quoted. I wanted to be honest so I told them of their "mistake" ("a deal is a deal"). They want back an re-ran the numbers and it came back that it was $200 under and that is the deal they gave me. There was no pressure to add items or extended warranties I did not want. Fair, simple and honest--and the best price I could find. Excellent experience. Note: I had the exact *opposite* experience at Universal City Nissan. They quoted a price about $400 under what Carson Nissan quoted. When I went there, they did not have the car. Then they refused to stand by an email from their salesperson specifically agreeing to the price with exactly the items I wanted and including tax and license. First, they said, "Oh, tax and license is extra." (about $1,800). I then showed them the email that it was specifically included. Then they said, they could do it, but I had to purchase and extended warranty (about $1,800). I showed them the email did not include any such stipulation. Do you see a pattern here? Anyway, I walked away from the sleazy Universal City Nissan just about ready to pass on getting a Nissan product. I gave Nissan one last chance with Carson Nissan--and I'm very glad I did. Night and day! Do your research and let Carson Nissan be your benchmark. I doubt you'll find another dealer who will match their price or service. ps: I have a law degree and have taught negotiations and business ethics at a university for almost 25 years. After a quick email response from Lai-Ce Shum for a follow-up on my inquiry regarding a Nissan Titan, I decided to visit the nearby Nissan Dealership the following day. I was cordially greeted by a follow-up on my inquiry regarding a Nissan Titan, I decided to visit the nearby Nissan Dealership the following day. I was cordially greeted by a sales representative, who introduced me to Lai-Ce. She was very intent on listening to my requirements, and presented multiple trucks that would suit my needs...she was very patient and has a really good sense of finding solutions with my search, and offered me to test drive a Titan SV. Dreading to feel the coming sales pressure, we went back to the showroom, where I was presented a good price for the Titan with the factory discounts, etc. Unfortunately, the price was still out of my budget. However, Lai-Ce was straightforward, but really easy to talk to and worked diligently with me in coming up with a great price, which included my trade-in vehicle and a holiday discount incentive. After accepting the offer, Marvin helped in preparing my truck, and I was brought to Lisa to complete the financing and paperwork. Lisa brought to my attention the great rate, and patiently explained the break down of the numbers. Marvin also took extra care by explaining how all the gadgets worked in the vehicle, and even filled up the gas tank :) Overall, I was very very pleased with the successful transaction, and working with the Carson Nissan team, who made me feel welcomed...it was a very Merry Christmas!
