Mixed Feelings I have mixed feelings on Carvana.. 5 stars for service, 5 stars for ease of transaction, 4 stars for trade in value offered. 2 Stars for the actual ca I have mixed feelings on Carvana.. 5 stars for service, 5 stars for ease of transaction, 4 stars for trade in value offered. 2 Stars for the actual car. I had a deal in place to trade in my car for a 2017 Camaro, with 18k miles on it. I arrived knowing that this car and many of their others were former rental cars, but I decided to give it a shot. I arrived, and the vending machine was broken, not THAT big of a deal, but it did alter the experience I was expecting. They pulled the car around, looked great from a distance, but upon further inspection the car was presented dirty, and was NOT detailed. Bug residues were all over the front, the kind that won't come off, underneath the convertible top was full of clay colored dust around the surfaces and on the rear seats. The car just felt very used up and several little issues were noticeable. Another red flag, was a bad tire sensor causing a warning light to go of, Carvana offered to pay to have it fixed or I could use the warranty and take it myself. Going to a repair shop is not the first thing . you want to do when buying a car. Service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and helpful. I think the concept is there, but they need to work on making sure that every car is presented as well as a dealership. You rely on buying sight unseen, and the car should be perfect when you arrive. The 150 point inspection? It didn't catch a bad sensor missing convertible mechanism cover. Needless to say, I did not accept the car and it was no problem with Carvana. They handled it and just cancelled out the order. I found a car, same year, half the miles and in showroom condition for about 3k less at a Chevrolet dealer down the street from Carvana. They did the deal, saved me money and gave me a car that I felt proud of, and not one that I felt leery of driving off. I will try carvana again in the future, simply because of the stress free experience they offer and the 7 day test drive. But if the next car isn't acceptable, then that would be the last test for them. More

I probably only half paid attention to the commercials before, and didn't realize what you guys actually do. Your price was competitive, no haggle, no questionable or mystery fees. Customer service was super friendly, delivery guy was super friendly. Several weeks prior I test drove a car at a dealership and it was a 2 hour ordeal on a Saturday (and I didn't even buy anything ... I think I was held hostage for a bit, but that's another story). I think my whole Carvana experience took about 20 minutes to buy my new car. Never felt an ounce of pressure. In only a few minutes I realized I was a couple of clicks away from having this car delivered. It really is a scary easy way (in a good way) to buy a car. More

Everything was very upfront, straight forward, and really changed the way my wife and I will buy cars from this point on. I would highly recommend this process to a dealership. It was strange and nerve wrecking making such a huge decision on a vehicle we had never seen in person, but the reviews I’ve read about the return policy and process put our minds at ease. We were able to find a great vehicle with all the options and features we were looking for and never had to leave home, deal with any pushy sales people, or feel the slightest bit of pressure to make a desision on the spot like at a traditional dealership. My only criticism, although there were never any accidents reported to the carfax of our purchase, there was some obviously repaired damage to both the interior and exterior of the vehicle that were not shown on carvana’s website. It was a used car, neither of us expected it to be showroom fresh, and the repaired damage wasn’t extensive, but it would have been nice to know. The amazing price we got, the damage wouldn’t have really effected our decision to buy anyways, but that was the only reason I am giving 4 stars and not a perfect 5. The car still looks great, and at the end of the 7 days, there was no way we were going to return it. The customer advocates, although we hardly had to work with them, were very pleasant and professional. More

Then I saw Carvana, looked online and went from there. The customer service team on both the "chat" and live calls, were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the process ridiculously simple and pain free.It is a very straightforward way to buy a car, and I will NEVER buy from a dealer again. More
