I found the perfect car after a month-long online search, only to learn that Carvana would not deliver to my area (North Carolina coast). Sold me a car that needed $7,000 in repairs - a 4 year old vehicle with 14,000 miles on it. It had been repainted, that was not disclosed. Within 3 days of receiving the vehicle, they told me these things weren’t covered by their warranty. Paint chipping due to over sanding also. Do not buy from this place, they can’t stand behind their products. No solutions offered. More

Carvana makes it difficult to report a complaint within the 7 day allowable period because the chat and advocates don’t respond quickly. In my case I only had 6 days rather than 7 because I picked the car the 7 day allowable period because the chat and advocates don’t respond quickly. In my case I only had 6 days rather than 7 because I picked the car up on a Monday and they are closed on Sunday. They don’t even accept chats as verification that you’re having a problem. They say to send a picture, give a link to make the report but there is no way to upload your picture. I was finally able to speak to a live person on day 6 but they did not respond to me until after SilverRock was closed so I couldn’t turn in my claim to silverrock on the 6th day, which was a Saturday. So I called SilverRock the following Monday and they said they couldn’t accept my claim because it was later than 7 days and no one from Carvana had contacted them on the 6th day to approve my claim. so I have to pay for the repair out of my pocket. Carvana is the kind of company that lies to get your business, then weasels out of any previous promises they made. If you can find the car of your dreams somewhere else, avoid Carvana like the plague. I’m sorry now that we got involved with them. Horrible customer service and lots of advertising hype. More
