Their customer service at Carvana pre-purchase was amazing. The problems started on the delivery date which was delayed, then delayed again, and then delayed again. They didn't change the 7 day return policy to reflect the extra day and a half delays. They promised me gas cards for the delay and nothing came or was offered which is no big deal but why offer? The Porsche came with no detailing and was dirty and muddy. The interior has the headliner coming off and this wasn't mentioned in their "150 point inspection" which it was in many other Porches. The interior has a lot of scuff marks again not mentioned at all. The car has mini chips all over in the paint which weren't called out and they are all over the car. The biggest issue was the Service Now light was on immediately after delivery. When I called Carvana immediately the customer service stops and I had to go to SilverRock their warranty provider. None of their preferred repair facilities wanted to diagnose the "service now" light. When I called them their customer service was condescending saying they would allow me as a courtesy to take the car to another repair shop not on their list. How kind of them to allow me on a brand new car which came with a service engine light on. They also wanted me to relay questions and qualify their non preferred repair shop, something they should be doing not me on a car just purchased. The car also has white smokes coming out of the exhaust when you start it up after it sits overnight. Great service and communication before you purchase your vehicle, once you take it for the 7 day period its crickets and being sent around chasing answers. We'll see what happens with the non preferred repair shop, but this is appalling having to chase down help on a car less than a week purchased. Overpromised and under delivered would summarize my experience. Delays, an expensive car with expensive repairs coming with a service problem as well as white smoke on startup is just ridiculous. I would stay away from cars through Carvana which go through their "partner" program. They don't inspect properly or clean their cars at all. More
Was a smooth fast easy process until the registration process. Went through 5 people and found Alicia who finally listened to me and was able to get the registration department to listen and fix their mi process. Scratches and interior stain damage that was not mentioned at purchase but when the car arrived it was all over. I took pictures and sent them along. Carvana said they'd pay for the work and referred me to a shop that they pre-approved. I went to the shop they said but turns out that shop does not do upholstery work. I had to wait on hold to talk with Carvana again and they started getting a little squirrely about a different place to go, saying well it has to be pre-approved but then when I'd list places they'd say they weren't sure if that would work until I tool it in and get an invoice from them. Lots of back and forth and multiple phone calls. At one point I even said to Carvana "I get the sense you don't want to pay for this work. Are you actually going to pay?" Finally they approved work to be done at a local auto upholstery. They ended up having to strip the whole top and change out seats and seat backs because the stains were so extensive. After I had the work done I asked Carvana to pay for me to have an interior detail (because after hours of interior work there were smells and smudges), but they refused. Would have been good business to at least pay for this after making me go through the huge hassle to fix the interior damage they never disclosed in the first place. More
A very easy process! I liked being able to take my time and never feeling rushed into anything. The drop-off was super easy and I have not had any issues. When my car got deliveredand I test drove it there was smoke coming from the engine, right away I told Carvana and they told me I could get the car checked where ever I chose, so I took the car to BMW , b smoke coming from the engine, right away I told Carvana and they told me I could get the car checked where ever I chose, so I took the car to BMW , because my car is a X5 2012 , it did have a problem and there was a leak in the vauls , BMW Fixed the problem and Carvana gave me peace of mind, Love Love Love my car , Thank You Caravan !!
