I love buying from Carvana. I bought my second vehicle from them and it was a great experience again! my experience with Carvana was good. I loved not having to leave my home, love they give you 14 days to try out the vehicle and if you’re unhappy you can return it. I wasn’t really in the market for a new car, but happen to spot a 2021 Mazda CX-5 signature edition, with only 2000 miles on it and the price was amazing in todays market! so we moved forward with the purchase. We had a few hang ups on the way, and if we didn’t personally get this taken care of, we probably wouldn’t have the car today. Carvana told us they take care of all communication with Capital One and we should never have to talk to them. well again, had we not made the umpteen calls, we wouldn’t have the car today. So that’s part of why it’s a 3 star review. The other reason, when we got the car the delivery driver didn’t pay attention and drove it under a low hanging tree and you could hear the branches scrapping the top of my car luckily no damage, he also said he would order the floor mats since there wasn’t any with the car and we will have them in 14 days, it’s been almost 2 months and still no floor mats . we’ve contacted carvana and no one will rectify this. I just don’t like when people/companies don’t stick to their word, if your word is no good, then that just shows true character. More

I am EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE CAR BUT …. the experience with delivery has been very different from my past experiences with them. The first car I chose and scheduled for delivery, was delayed an additional week. After the additional week, it was delayed again because when it was to be delivered, they said it had paint and a very large scratch that must be repaired. I went online and chose a different car, signed all contracts and scheduled delivery. When the delivery date came, I got another call and said that the car had a smashed rear tail light and some other issues with the body that must be repaired. I was frustrated and I compared Carvana to Carmax. I found Carmax to be on average about 10% higher, and the finance rate they offered was significantly higher. So I went back to Carvana, and chose a third car to give it a third try. This time the car was delivered as promised, and I absolutely love the car. I think, allowing for all the problems that Covid pandemic and supply chain shortages and labor shortages have caused , Carvana is doing the best they can. Overall I must drop from five stars to four stars, not because of the quality of the car which is absolutely as promised, but do you to the issues with poor communication and subpar logistical issues. All of this being said, I would most certainly choose Carvana to buy another used car today. More
I give Carvana a 4 star because even though the purchase went smoothly they changed my delivery date 3 times. It was supposed to take 3 days to get it and it took 3 weeks instead which is a pain if you don’ went smoothly they changed my delivery date 3 times. Just confirmation that I paid cash. also it’s been 5 months and I still haven’t received my plates but I don’t think that’s Carvana’s fault. More

The inventory in the categories of vehicles I was looking at was solid and the whole buying process was awesome, smooth and efficient. There was great customer support and follow up along the way. I don't know why cars are still being advertised on many sites as still available when Carvana says the car is under contract. If it takes longer than 48 hours to settle the transaction, move on to the next buyer More
This review is not specific to Deer Park, NY's Carvana, but an assessment and experience with the company more generally. This has been the most difficult car-buying experience I've been involved in thu but an assessment and experience with the company more generally. This has been the most difficult car-buying experience I've been involved in thus far in my life. I had a car locked in and ready for delivery that was dropped because the staff verifying my ID picture admittedly made a mistake; I was promised a callback that hasn't happened yet regarding this occurrence (now 2 days past the 48 hour promised window); to replace the car I wanted I was sent a car $2000 more expensive (remarkably similar to the good old bait-and-switch, making Carvana exactly like the dealerships they claim to be different from), and now I am dealing with more back and forth. I wanted to increase my down payment to try and keep my monthly payments comparable to the car they baited-and-switched me with and, upon completing the 2 minutes of updating of numbers, I was pushed back four business days in delivery time. The people I interact with over the phone are always super kind and seem to be well-intentioned, but never able to do more than put notes on your profile with the promise that help may come from someone else in the future, which as I mentioned before, it never does. There is zero interaction between departments, clearly no real communication between subordinates and their leadership, and certainly no callbacks or customer service. I am still trying to muscle through this ordeal due to a lack of inventory on the market, and the dire situation my family is in trying to work three jobs with twin babies between two parents. If things turn around I will happily adjust this score and update the comments, but I haven't even received the car yet and the buyer's remorse I am feeling already is crippling.. The concept of Carvana seems great on the surface but the utter lack of devotion to customer service makes this company’s model untenable. Be very cautious if you consider utilizing this website, and if you really need a car I would recommend visiting a dealership where at least you can have some consistent contact with human beings. While I am still waiting with bated breath, hoping against hopes the car will actually show up and that maybe I’ll hear back from one single human being, I recognize and suggest that for all intents and purposes this company should be your absolute last stop, last ditch effort at buying a car. If at all possible, utilize something else.. anything else. More
