The third car is not so charming paperwork was messed up waited over one hour for Carvana to correct. They will go the extra mile letting the customer know what is next at every step of the process. The online process is clean, fast, and easy to pick the most relevant car of your choice. The no hassle with salespeople and sales managers making you think that they are doing you a favor by selling you a car is really one of the luxuries you avoid with Carvana. I am giving the company 4 out of 5 stars for the following reasons: If you are planning to sell your vehicle and purchase another one (a trade), you must do it on the same day. (Will explain) Most states will give you a sales tax credit (i.e., 6%,) for the total amount of the sale of your vehicle. This amount can be deducted from the sales tax of the deal. I understand that is a sell and a purchase (if you want to be technical about it) yet, Carvana thrives about the way they do business; by being able to preorder a vehicle or buying one that takes several days to deliver. Carvana is the dealer where both transactions are done hence the company should extend the credit as a courtesy, this way people will not get taxed twice! Any sales and purchases within the same month or accounting period should be honored. If you are planning to finance with Carvana (the process is very easy, btw) make sure you ensure the car before the finance process, (showing the name of the vehicle on your policy not just the proof of insurance). The finance team gives you 24 hours to get this process done even if you make the purchase during the weekend, otherwise, you must purchase another insurance or give up the purchase. I found this extremely stressful as (again) they are doing you the favor to sell you a car! Remember, YOU are the buyer, YOU are the one getting in debt to purchase a car, YOU are doing Carvana a favor by choosing to do business with them. I read many stories about buying vehicles online with Carvana, and how some people are not satisfied with the purchase. I do not see any difference with used car lots dealers. Carvana gives you 7 days to return the vehicle if you are not happy with it. Overall, I recommend Carvana to anyone who is tired of car salespeople and unscrupulous managers! More
Everything was great except for the high price and high interest rate. I found out too late that my 2021 (used) model actually sold NEW earlier this year for a whopping $10,000 LESS than what they sold it interest rate. I love the car and also bought the extended warranty since it's a hybrid. The loan process was good and the delivery was excellent. But I paid for it in a very high price. More
I was very pleased with the trade in amount but there was some confusion about the location of vehicle we wanted. We ended up having to place two $100.00 holds on different vehicles. There were rather large cosmetic paint bubbles on the passenger's side that were not disclosed previous to delivery. The small, not noticeable scratches were disclosed. I am disappointed because the fix is much more expensive than a small scratch. Carvana told me they don't cover cosmetic issues, but it was not initially disclosed and they were not transparent. It was also not a fluid process for purchase. They changed the price (increased) after the bank had already sent the check and I had to make additional phone calls and speak to several employees to fix the issue. More
