This is the second car I’ve bought through Carvana and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a car anywhere else. So simple!! My only complaint is I was inundated with texts for a few days which was annoying. The beauty of Carvana is very little contact. Also, I was told that I would receive a voucher for two new tires but I have not received that yet. The money to pay for the car was withdrawn from my account on day one but still waiting on those vouchers… More
Wow! I won’t bore you with my awful experience prior to this. With Carvana, the whole experience was exceptional! No hassles. No debates! Excellent customer service. The best car buying experience I ever had. The initial vehicle I selected online didn't pass Carvana's inspection tests, so they notified me that they couldn't sell the vehicle to me. I selected another v vehicle I selected online didn't pass Carvana's inspection tests, so they notified me that they couldn't sell the vehicle to me. I selected another vehicle and everything passed and I had the vehicle delivered to my home. The purchase and delivery went very smoothly as promised. I am very satisfied with the service I received. There was a small cosmetic scratch during delivery and Carvana offered to have it fixed if I choose to do so. More
I bought a car from Carvana and returned it 3 days later. Car was as described and delivered. I don’t know why they call it streamlined. That was not a streamlined process. Really. I think I returned a good vehicle because every time I drove it or looked at it, I was reminded of anxiety and almost daily stress I endured up to and the actual delivery. My delivery date, after a full 15 days was June 9, between 1:30 and 230. I had a rental which I planned to return first and then a friend was going to take me to get my new vehicle. Delivery day I am 35 miles away in my Drs. Office at 0900. It is my driver. He said my car was loaded, he was on his way and would arrive at our prearranged drop off and he would be there by 1100. I tried to change time with my driver. No way, he had a dental appt at 1100. I called another friend to help. I am 71, live alone and have mobility issues. My friend at work will help. I leave my appt drive straight to meet the driver and we both get there at 1105. It took about 35 minutes to sign papers I had already signed. But they wouldn’t leave the vehicle so I signed them. Now I still had to return the rental so I had to leave my new purchase parked at Walmart. Now it is lunch time and traffic is bad. I get to Hertz, check in my rental and wait while my friend gives up his lunch to help me get to Walmart. He arrives at Hertz, far North in town. He comes at 1220. Traffic is full blown and we have to drive East of town to get my vehicle. We arrive at the lot at Walmart at 1250. Neither of us ate lunch and I had pretty much been on the road since 0800. When we arrive, what do I see? The driver sitting in the truck with his ac on, the engine running—texting. He hadn’t moved since we arrived at 1105. He didn’t see me but I saw him. Yes, he was texting! I got in my car and turned it on so it could cool down. I continued to watch him sit there and text. The Carvana truck was empty and it hadn’t moved. It was now 1pm. Why was my delivery time upped by 1.5-2.5 hours? Was it his decision to screw up my day or was it Carvana. I kind of think the driver delivered at his convenience which caused me ridiculous inconvenience. Why did I have to change ALL of my plans, find new help, end up with the rental and my new car and miss lunch in the rush, drive 35 miles to meet him at 1100? So he could sit in his truck and text? He was still there when I left at 1pm. The truck had not moved since he drove in. Terrible, inexcusable, inappropriate behavior representing the company. I discover the vehicle does not have a back up camera with warning beeper. I call that afternoon but now they answer the phone differently. Welcome to Carvana, we recognize you by your phone number. All the prompts have changed, none were what I needed but chose #6 which elicited a 25 minute wait listening to the same crumby songs-3 of them over and over. I report the problem and am asked by Carvana, did I check the fuses? Referred to Silver Rock for additional help. Long wait, I hung up. Thought about the entire buying process, the need for redundant paper work and a totally botched delivery which was clearly for the drivers convenience. Thought of endless waiting, inability of operators to really help but write a ticket up or transferring you for another long wait. I decide the next day to return the vehicle. I guess from reading reviews, I was lucky to get it in 15 days or at all. Once they get your money, you no longer can even get on the original site to reread car info. This was not streamline and it wore me down trying to communicate by even getting an operator to talk with. The pick up was on time and was quick. The driver was great. Through all the BS, Carvana did do what they promised. My 8k was returned to my acct today, six days after the return. Carvana said 7-10 days. The car was as described and they took it back. Would I even give Carvana another thought? I hope not. I am happy to forget this entire experience and put it out of my mind. Will not even look at their advertisements. Beware! Once they have your money, you are hopelessly in their hands and yours are tied. Read the reviews.if you decide to go with Carvana, half way through this fiasco, you will remember this review. More
Purchasing the vehicle was very easy. The dealership was top notch. A huge negative is the truck stunk like smoke horribly. After watching the commercials about Carvana I decided to check them out. Finding the perfect car for me was a simple and easy process. The experience was nice and the vending machine was a neat and new expe check them out. Finding the perfect car for me was a simple and easy process. The experience was nice and the vending machine was a neat and new experience. My only complaint /concern is licensing my new vehicle. With covid slowing things down I'm not sure how it'll go but my overall experience was enjoyable with great people and nice preowned vehicles. More
