Generously giving these 2 stars only because the selection/ purchase process was actually very easy, and people I did speak with were very polite. Took 4+ weeks for delivery. Delivery ultimately scheduled 3 times. Not saying that some reasons for the delays weren't valid on their side, but I waited 2 weeks for my first delivery and wasn't alerted that it wouldn't be here until the day before it was set to arrive... to contextualize that, it still hadn't left its original facility in Arizona on the day it was to be arriving in Maryland. Why didn't the (text msg, mind you) alert come in a 'week' before, instead of the *day* before? The lack of a dedicated point of contact is a problem... there is no apparent individual purchase manager, no one person monitoring the sale or delivery. So, while I appreciate the peppy upbeat customer service speak, it falls short as, at customer service level 1, no one has any real answers to your questions. You have to get to a team leader before anyone can make any real decisions or provide real information. The process would be great if you have zero issues or never need to speak to someone, but if you do, good luck, enjoy the 7 repeating songs while you're on hold long enough to hear each several times. Acknowledging the above were relatively manageable annoyances, I ultimately returned the vehicle because it had 51 (literally) codes show up when I had it reviewed by my auto shop. Most minor, but two related to the transmission... no thanks, I'll pass on potential transmission issues. Brakes not operating properly, oddly uneven wear, my mechanic felt they should not have passed state inspection. A fender had been repainted... not a biggie, but... what happened there? That wasn't listed on the website... While I don't question their intent to do good work, their system/ structure to deliver as promised just isn't there yet. They'll get there, but I'd give it a couple years yet. More

I would have giving Carvana 5 stars, but I had one significant issue that really delayed the purchasing process. The first purchase was actually very smooth and I was very happy overall. Due to a technical issue Carvana cancelled my order. Ok, I was a little bummed but I was ready to proceed with the next choice. When I resumed shopping I noticed my previous car selection was available again. I should have paused, but I proceeded with the purchase again. I was about 72 hours away from delivery when my order was cancelled again. The car was actually sold to another buyer. The simple fact i was able to purchase an unavailable car, AGAIN, cost Carvana 1 star in this review. Ultimately they are sending me some money for the delay (which I haven't received yet). Customer service was fine and the resolution was acceptable. Overall I can recommend Carvana, I'm sure I was an edge case, albeit a frustrating one for me. More
