I love the no-hassle approach to buying a car. I had been working with a traditional dealership for about two months, trying to purchase one of two used trucks I liked on their lot. I was a cash buyer and t working with a traditional dealership for about two months, trying to purchase one of two used trucks I liked on their lot. I was a cash buyer and they wouldn't dicker on the price by more than $600 claiming if I would finance, I could "get a better deal." I made a few more offers as the trucks were still on the lot after 75 days, and they chose not to work with me. I started looking at Carvana and within a day or two, the truck I wanted in the color I wanted appeared on the website. I called customer service and they answered all my questions in simple terms multiple times in language I could understand. I have never purchased a car online and they made it easy. And this is a guy who still purchases CDs instead of buying music digitally. When I told them I wanted to pay cash, they didn't complain. The hardest part of the buying process was uploading some of the documents required to purchase, but it didn't take that long. It took me over 6 months to find the truck, but I tend to be very picky about vehicles. I love the 7-day return policy, although I didn't plan on returning the vehicle. I took advantage of the 7-day return policy time to have the truck checked by my mechanic, and he found no issues (not that I expected him to find any.) I absolutely love the truck and it's nicer than anything I have driven in the last 12 years. IF there are any disappointments, it would have to be picking up the vehicle. I opted to go pick the vehicle up at their "car vending machine" near Cleveland, OH. I thought it would be fun to see the machine work. But when I got there, the truck was inside a garage bay. I found out the truck was too long to fit in the machine. I would have opted to have the vehicle delivered if I knew that. But, if that was the biggest problem, I could live with that. The associate apologized about it, but there was nothing she could do. She was kind, easy to deal with, and I walked out with my keys in less than 10 minutes. I will definitely consider them again when I am in the market. And, to think my wife and I wasted over two hours at a traditional dealership only to come away with nothing to show for that time and effort. Thank you Carvana, for making car buying as simple as it can be! More

Two years ago if you said I’d be buying a car completely online I would have laughed. Having done just that I honestly don’t see going back to the old way. The overall process was good. Dealing with real people was great. But the autobot responses were sometimes confusing and contradictory. Best to keep it "real".
