I absolutely enjoyed the entire process of my automobile purchase. I found exactly what I wanted in my new crossover suv. Our car is great. The delivery driver was fantastic and the trade-in value was superb. The experience was not as painless as it was supposed to be, however. First, was were almost to delivery of our first purchase before we realized while getting insurance that it had been incorrectly marketed as an automatic, when it was a manual. We found another car and called to swap them, and the rep said that car, that number never existed. Skeptical, we proceeded conversation. She helped us find a similar car, and we asked for a price match on the initial purchase which they refused. It offered us $100 for our trouble, a check that they would cut at the time of delivery. We asked them to put it towards the price of our down payment and she confirmed we could do so. Then our delivery driver confirmed they would hold true to that and if they didn’t a quick phone call would get us a refund. You can see where this is going - it didn’t happen. They put it towards the purchase price which obviously didn’t change the monthly payment and had NO benefit to us that way, so we called them - it’s going into holidays and frankly we needed that money and a second rep basically called me a liar, said we weren’t getting it back and if we decided to press it that it would take several weeks for it to be looked at, and then may not be accepted and then 7-10 business days to mail. $100 to them is nothing and in the grand scheme of life nothing but it really did ruin the entire experience of what was supposed to be easy. We told friends and family, and two of them with autos on the way from Carvana, after hearing our initial excitement over our resale value and the first car cancelled their orders. They misadventures, stole money owed, and forced out hand into a higher priced car even though it was the same as the other with higher mileage. Hope it was worth it. I asked for a refund check of the $100 and to speak with a manager - it’s been a week and I haven’t received a call back or any type of correspondence and I’m pretty sure they are not processing a refund so we will never use them again and will continue to encourage others to do the same. We spent more time on the phone trying to correct all the wrong things than we have ever spent in a dealership. More
