The ridiculousness that ensued upon our decision to try out Carvana started as soon as we made our vehicle choice online. We picked the car - Carvana says “yay, pick the date you would like to pick up out Carvana started as soon as we made our vehicle choice online. We picked the car - Carvana says “yay, pick the date you would like to pick up your car” We pick a date one week away. Carvana rep calls us and tells us that we are good to go, please make sure you send us a picture of your check before you leave to come and pick up the car. Three days later - the car that we have a freaking check in hand for is back online for sale and we are told “you didn’t show us the money and we aren’t calling you to ask about it. Rug gets pulled out from under us. We do the process again at 4am because we already have insurance on this exact car and a check to purchase it. And now we can’t pick it up until the following week. When we picked up the check at the bank - Carvana says “just send us a picture of the check”. So we did. A Carvana rep calls after bank business hours to say “hey, why didn’t the loan officer call us?” Umm because you didn’t tell us that you were expecting that. So another delay. We meet the delivery guy THREE HOURS FROM OUR HOME AT A WALMART Delivery guy is nice. We sign A STACK of papers as well as hand over our trade in and check (I had to remind the guy that he needed a check) We are only given one key - the listing showed two keys. Delivery driver has no idea. As soon as we leave with the car, the right rear tire shows as a much lower pressure than the rest and I can’t buckle my seatbelt and car wreaks of cigarette smoke and there are dirty handprints on the ceiling AND someone who has NO business doing touch up paint on cars painted squiggly lines on the lower part of the car as well as sprayed a white mist INTO the car which now covers EVERY SEAT! I call Carvana. Get tossed around to a “post sales rep”. I explain my issues. He says their parent insurance company SilverRock will cover the cost of the key fob, the seatbelt AND THE TIRE because, and I quote “we probably ran something over while we were loading it on the truck.” I wait a week to see the dealer because: Covid. Dealership works with SilverRock on repairs but doesn’t cover the tire because SilverRock says it’s an act of god and they don’t give a crap that Carvana told me that they would cover it. I was basically told “sucks to be you we ain’t coverin it”. Nice. Last week, we are overnight Fedexed a Form to sign in front of a notary (a form we signed when we picked up the car, btw - Carvana says “your delivery guy messed up”. So we tell the delivery guy and he’s not surprised by their behavior. Wow Today we receive ANOTHER form for our title to sign and return. This time, no one from Carvana even called to explain. It seems like they are sending us the packet that we already signed one sheet of paper at a time. Yet they’ve cashed our check NO PROBLEM All in all, this company has a LOT of kinks to fix if they plan to stay open. They need to hire better quality employees and they need to iron out their whole business plan to center its focus around the customer. And they shouldn’t bother selling cars that stink like xxx because there is no way to know until it’s too late that you’re spending 30k on an ashtray. I will legit post this on EVERY SINGLE REVIEW site I can find. I cannot imagine if my elderly father in law were to have had to go through this. I cannot imagine how many people they end up seriously screwing up with their negligence. And that’s what it is. This is negligence. 1/10 stars because I like the make and model car I got. I guess. Jan was really nice to work with and I feel like she gave us a great price for our vehicle. The drop off process was very easy as well. Thru sale, great, after sale, change everything Bought 7/17 & completed DCCU paperwork 7/20 for 7/21 delivery. 7/20 PM told can deliver Cad to Park City but can`t pick up trade. After much talk agreed to drive Jeep to Mesquite, Nev. so delivery was pushed to 7/26. We drove 800 miles (round-trip) as a courtesy to Carvana. What`s wrong with this picture? Like car but feel abused.We FedExed Ut form 7/28 got email 7/30 saying you didn`t have it. Called & you said it was received 7/29. Now getting texts you don`t have it & will delay processing tag. This is unacceptable More
